I'm getting to the point where I need to start thinking about the graphics for my Cuphead Pin's playfield.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a brand of clear and white laser decal paper? My current plan is to mask and airbrush the solid colors, use white decal paper for the figures, clear decal paper for the key lines and seal everything in with Spraymax. The decal paper has to be stable under the Spraymax clear which I'm hoping that pretty much any decal paper will work under the Spraymax since it is two part resin/hardener so there are no volatiles to cook off and thus no volatiles to screw with the decal plastic.

I keep reading that people use water slide decals that they buy off of Amazon. They’re supposed to be thin.

    Have you read this forum:

Thanks I have seen that post. I've used inkjet waterslide decals in the past and they are a bit of a pain to work with because the ink is water soluble so they need to be clear coated before application. I have access to a color laser printer and since laser printers use toner that is essentially melted plastic there is no need to mess with clear coating before application. I was wondering if anyone who has used laser printed decals under clear coat has any suggestions for a brand to go with?

    Love your Cuphead homebrew!

I have used the Sunnyscopa brand that's available on Amazon. I have used their thin, laser decal paper, clear coated with SprayMax 2k with great results. I used their white decals for the backgrounds of my playfield plastics, but they were not clear coated with the SprayMax. I don't see that it would be a problem. You can see some pics of how my decals turned out at https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/the-phantom-tollbooth-retheme

Thanks for the reply, love your Phantom Tollbooth as well. I had already ordered some white and clear decal paper from the "crafty printer" so we'll see how that works out.
