I've repaired a Laser Ball that was in storage for quite some time, so I'm trying to put as many games as I can on it to be sure everything is working before I give it back (motto in my shop is "I'll fix it for you, but you don't get it back until I'm sick of playing it"). It's a good thing I am, because it seems most every day I discover some small, easily fixed problem. I'm down to the dollar coin taker not working reliably, but I don't think that will be a much of an issue.
When I first got the sound working, I mentioned to my girlfriend that for all the trouble they went through with a computer to generate sound, the generic beeps and boops weren't very "laser like", and she agreed.
Tonight I went out to the shop, fired it up, played a game, just like usual. Came in the house for something, went back out, and fired up another game, and all the sounds have changed!
Can't find anything in the docs about settings for different sounds. I know there is a toggle switch and a push button on the sound board, but have no idea what they're for. Could this be something flaky in the toggle switch? I know it's not the push button, it disintegrated months ago.
Thanks.
