Usually it is related to a bad 5v source when your dmd goes out so fast but since you stated that you changed out your mpu I assumed that the problem would lie there...if you know that the mpu that you installed is fully functional then I would check the power supply anything less than 5v no matter how small can be a problem, I believe you need 5.3v to be exact
