I think either Marco specialties or Bay Area amusements carries the drop targets. They are pretty easy to change. I find it easier just to remove the whole assembly.

It's actually fairly easy. Typically there or 4 screws holding the whole bracket on and a plug to disconnect it

Yes, it should be pretty close to that. Some games don't have a plug for the coil, some do.
