As we all probably know...the crane on LAH can be very tempermental at times. For the most part mine works fine...even though for my entire time owning it the capacitor at the bottom of the crane motor had 1 lead snapped off. I recently had to remove drop target assembly to clean and replace switches etc...and did replace disk capacitor while I was at it.

How was crane still functioning? and
What is the function of that .1z 500v disk capacitor? Just a curiousity question as I am learning about the hobby.
