Yellow (banded side of the diode) should connect to the Yellow-Violet wire.
The brown wire (non-banded side of the diode) should connect to the Violet-Orange wire.
Tech Chart might come in handy too....

I don't think so, but I can be wroung.
Is there something under the apron?
Most of the time there are just two lose wires....
From the looks of the image on the ipdb it doesn't have any connector.

Just remove the wires and connect the original wires.
