I second what Wiz said. It would be great to get some kind of regional group going.

I don't think I've got anything to worry about as I live about 150 miles inland on the "landmass". You guys on the coastal areas be careful and prepare well. Hopefully, it will be negligible and not cause any problems.

You said it! Other than Wizzardz, me and one other guy that dabbles a bit, I don't personally know anyone in MS into pinball like us. I think there are a couple others, but they aren't active on here. I was glad to meet Pinball-is-great and Nevus on Sunday but sad I didn't get to meet several others. Everyone, including myself, was pretty busy one way or another and I didn't have an opportunity to get around to meet people like I wanted. That's one reason I am excited about the N.O. club. It will be a much better place to get acquainted and talk with some fellow pinheads.

Also, Pinballhelp, I was going to purchase a shirt but never did catch you in the booth. I will still get one if you can take paypal or something and mail it out.

Hope to meet all you guys at some point, hopefully sooner than later.

Thought I would post this here first in case anyone in the group was interested. A friend of mine has a "Jungle Lord" machine he is wanting to sell. I haven't seen it or played it in a while but it was 100% working last time I did. It's not collector quality or anything but it was in pretty good shape if I remember. I think the backglass was a little flaky. He said he would like to get $800 for it but I am pretty sure that is negotiable. If anyone is interested, let me know and I will try to get some pictures of it to post.
Oh yeah it is in the Jackson, MS area. I am sure most would want to see it in person first but, I am willing to bring it down to the pinchurch next time I come for a tourney if someone wants it and doesn't want to travel.

Absolutely not! Those CL spammers get on my nerves. I have to wade throught all their post every time I look on CL. This is a friend with a small collection.

That had to be a prank somebody pulled on that dude. I called 100 times starting immediately after it posted and always got voice mail and his mailbox was already full. I bet he didn't realize he could get that many calls in one day! The story sounded a little fishy, especially since you can see another pin to the left in that picture.

Me and Mike are going to have to talk about snatching that HH away from me. I needed that to complete my set!

Thanks for having the tournament. I think everyone had a great time. I did even with my underwhelming performance. I didn't get a plaque but I did get a very cool translite and other stuff, so I didn't leave empty handed .

Thanks. My BH is waiting for me to do a little cabinet restoring and a playfield swap. I got a restored and clear coated playfield to put in it whenever I get around to it. Way to many projects to work on! When I get it done it should look really good lined up with Spirit and HH.

Thank you. I lucked up on the Spirit. It was the first machine I got and I really didn't know what I had when I was getting it. I looked it up before I got it and saw that it was somewhat rare and sought after, but I had no idea how much.
