So oil base clear is the way too go ?

Quoted from kruzman:

some of the mirco IJ's I have done have willy's teeth red with lip stick. I thought it was a digital print, but there has been a couple that her lipstick red is on the teeth, and I fix it. You cant really see in the pics that this one has the glitter around the inserts. he is doing this on a couple of titles. I am not amused, although nothing was more of a pig with lipstick than the colorized centaur repro. what s kick in the balls of the original artist.
It blows my mind that I have never once seen a pf reproducer just give props to the original artist. Maybe on the description where they say how great it is and how much, just say thanks to who ever originally painted it.

Yea I know hey who would leave it like that and don't worry about he's PFs that he's making that's not right at all but Ron will make it right every time thanks too Ron enjoy your time off u need it

Quoted from RCA1:

Ha, I can see the seams in the drywall on your ceiling.

We need to fix that

Quoted from kruzman:

I will detail the madness a bit more. I dont have a plow for the kubota L3400, but a loader. It took 2 hours to plow and shovel, and I destroyed my back. it was 12-15 in (just from last night) when I was out there. Its still blasting snow so bad I cant see the tree that is about half way to the road, so that tree is at about 400-450 ft. Going back out to do some more painting. may be a good weekend to build crates, as well as I realized that my roof trusses are sagging between an inch and almost 2 in where someone put up a beam to have a tall door. They got rid of 3 trusses and put in a beam 16 ft that just connects to the remaining trusses. So these trusses are made of 1 by material, and are 28-30 feet long. The Beam is attached with hangers at the peak of the trusses, and they didnt put any posts up to support. The trusses are just sitting on a 2x4 wall. I have been here since 05, but I just noticed the sag in the middle of the trusses, so I am going to get some steel posts of the ends of the trusses, and in the middle I am going to build one that supports under the center of the truss, and goes up to the peak of the truss and get under that beam. so that is a little over 16 ft. I am going to buy 16' 2x8's. I am sure they are going to be pricey. Lowes doesnt carry basement posts any more so I gotta find those. I am going to look if there is a habitat for humanity store in kzoo soon and see if they have some, because I am sure they are stupid expensive now days.
I was a remod/builder for 21 years, and I threw away so much materials back in the 90's that I would fight for the dumpster dive, now

Ya blowing snow is not fun a few years ago I restored a M9000 Kubota with a new loader and a 8 foot blower cab and all its over kill for where I live in town but the plan is too move out of town then I can really use it makes it easy too blow any snow out there

#2526 1 year ago

Here’s my I restored it’s over kill for in town lol

Quoted from frunch:

As a full-blooded suburbanite, I envy you guys with those amazing Kubotas out there. I've seen them many a time in my travels (generally on construction/job sites) and I've always dug their design and aesthetic. To hear about their prowess in the field just seals the deal for me. Those big, gnarly rear wheels, that smack-you-in-the-face orange. I don't know wtf I'd do with one of those, but I still really want one anyway I came to this thread for the artistry, never expected to get led into a tractor obsession lol
Williampinball That's the coolest thing I've seen on the Internet today, bravo on a resto done right

Thanks bud it took me 3 years in the making too restore this but well worth it for sure now I just need lots more land so I can really enjoy it but everyone near me enjoy this also I do there driveways also

#2531 1 year ago
Quoted from kruzman:

That thing is a monster! I dont think I have driven one that size before, when I see it next to your van
I totally agree with frunch about the design of the kubotas. What I think is so cool is everything is 100% form follows function, but yet they still achieve a cool distinctive design. I dont have time to look for a pic right now, but the real old stuff form the 80's looks so different than anything else.
I think the era of my kubota is really tame and soft looking, but maybe if I make it another 20 it will look different compared to whats being made. I know the tractor will make it another 20.
This time of year, I fill my loader with firewood, and bring it right up to the door of all 3 buildings. I can barely handle all of the handling of firewood with the tractor. if I had to hump 20 face cords a year, I would be in amazing shape, though more likely just having natural gas run to the place.

Yes it's a 2003 and when I got it it didn't have a loader or blower just the trackor it self ,3 years later and a lot of time but she's nice now I took everything apart too do it right as u said it's a monster and over kill but you can't over load this one and it will do anything u want that's for sure

Quoted from kruzman:

Got some pf porn: this is a wpt that really came out nice. I have this game in my living room, and it would be wild to play with a zero friction pf. I think of all of the steve ritchie games with cleared pfs would be insane, like balls floating like on ice.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Very great job well done

#2539 1 year ago
Quoted from kruzman:

I have been focusing on pfs for 15 years now it seems. I can think of several pfs I had to sell that bum me out so bad. I dont make enough to afford most of the pfs that I want so bad. The way I look at it, is I try to enjoy the short time I get to have them. My rule is even if I buy it for me, I make my self list it as available, and if someone buys it, I have to sell it. Since I am so many years behind on projects, I would have all of the pfs, and no one else would have any!.
The NOS pfs that I have owned that come to mind are:
several IJ's
rocky
amazing spiderman
incredible hulk
proto TZ
Most of the sys 11 titles in diamondplate which is very cool
asteroid anne
genie
Iron maiden and viper/classic sterns
charlies angels EM (after dayhuff spent 10 years looking for one, and sold the game)
several TAFG
Anyway I finally got a pf that I have wanted since day one. It was the second game I owned, and its a licensed game that I love the license and the game. In fact in my opinion the 3 greatest games made are IJ, DEGnR, and wiz of oz. I may add godzilla if I still love it after a couple years.
So I got this nos GNR that I cleared for chad years ago, and he didnt install it. This is the first pf I have owned that I am keeping for me.
I have a JJP GnR also and I want to hang both in my office. I am bummed I sold my roached out, used GnR to someone, because it would be cool to have that on the wall again also.
The other pf title I would kill for is a pabst with dirty donny's art. I doubt that one will ever happen.
[quoted image][quoted image]

So very nice bud best game ever DE GNR I love my and will never sell she's a keeper for sure

#2542 1 year ago
Quoted from kruzman:

I dont have the money right now, but I will be in the market for the game soon. I have owned 3 of them. I think one of my mine is still in the detroit area. I forgot the fella's name I sold it to (chucks partner on the pin2000 boards). After april 15th.

Ya I own two and sold them then I wanted it back again couldn't find one in Ontario so I had too get one from PA then I did a full restore on it had too pay more for it but now I learn the hard way lol it's not leaving again it's always the way

Quoted from kruzman:

I was just reminded the problem with selling projects, or used pfs or anything that is not absolutely perfect. Someone contacted me about the nos DE simpsons pf that I lost interest in a couple years ago. it was about half way done. I drilled and dimpled, sanded and sealed the back prepped, did more than half of the paint work and locked it down with a coat, and then sanded it level so the paint could be finished and be cleared.
So a month later I get a letter that says your paint looks bad when you put light behind it, and it is not even, and its going to cost 500 to get finished.
here is the first letter I write. one of 20 some explaining that the job is not done.
Hello. The de simpsons is indefinitely on hold. I get about 2 emails on it every single day. It blows my mind.
I dont do restorations any more because I havent figured out how to make more than 7 bucks an hour. I did it full time for 5 years before it bankrupted me.
So anyway , I clear pfs, both repros and NOS, and I perfect them first. Like most nos pfs have cracks around the inserts, or other things that should be fixed before clearing.
I have been clearing pfs 6 and 7 days a week for several years, and I just dont have the time to put in to the simpsons. it is for sale as it is for 1300. I have drilled and dimpled it, done most of the paint work, locked it down with a thin coat of clear, and sanded it. so its ready for yellow, and black. most of the other colors are done.
Thanks and have a good day, ron kruzman
Not only do I not want someone to be unhappy with something they bought from me, but I realize now that this person is going to look for help and write everyone to say I bought this from kruzman and look how bad it is, not mentioning that I explained that its a project and not complete. I said the paint needs to be finished and it needs clear before it can be installed. I thought the person was going to finish the work, install it and be happy. Maybe go buy some paint and a brush, and figure it out. it just takes time. LOTS OF TIME.
if its 500 to finish the paint and clear it, thats a steal. But we all know that pinball is a hands off, easy, inexpensive, not labor intensive hobby.
So now I have to rethink selling some projects in the shop to help with the bills and compressor. everything has to be idiot proofed before shipped. I suppose I have to install it also.
Just venting. frustrated. I need a wife or room mate

Ya I know all about it there's just some people in this world you can never make happy ether way you try I lean that the hard way now I know the signs of people the way they talk, acted and if that happens I run the other way
,keep up the great work Ron

#2616 1 year ago
Quoted from kruzman:

Picked up 2 more pfs for sale
a cpr gold tales of Arabian nights and a really nice IPB scared stiff with an aftermarket clear that I really like. very different style than me. Quite thin compared to mine, but it looks just right!

Quoted from kruzman:

I wanted to mention for a friend/customer that philip baliey in texas has a TAF pf that I cleared for chad some years ago. He has a couple taf pfs, and we cant tell if this one is nos or repro. Anyway he is looking to sell it.
I forget his handle on pinside. I am old.

Hi Ron I did see one up for sale in TX but I think it’s a Micro PF

#2716 1 year ago
Quoted from mmr61184:

Hmmm I can tell. The interesting thing is there is no manufacture initials like TAG, LS or SP.
Dude how many TAF playfields do you have??????

I am thinking two

#2721 1 year ago
Quoted from kruzman:

I get creamy for chrome coin doors

Your TAF looks great with the chrome

#2723 1 year ago
Quoted from Pbgixxer:

Thanks! I’m pretty sure it’s nos. I’ve never seen a repro with that stamp on it.

Yes very true there's no date on them

#2738 1 year ago
Quoted from Pbgixxer:

It looks like maybe the date or something was on it but it’s not legible. [quoted image]

Does your other one have a date on it ,I believe what Ron said with out a date on them it’s really not NOS ,I have a few PFs and they have dates on them so NOS for sure

#2740 1 year ago
Quoted from mmr61184:

Either way it’s a nice looking playfield and it has a Kruzman clear job on it. Mazle too to whoever buys it

That’s right ether way it’s got Ron’s great clear on it great PF too

Quoted from kruzman:I am ready to pull my hair out. I got 15 emails from someone who wanted a spiderman nos pf. he wanted to make sure it was new. he wanted to make sure its was not cleared, but it has a clear. he said he will take it several times. he sent me his address, I sent him mine and the total. I had to explain over several emails that it dosent matter if you send a check or a post office money order. I had to explain what a post office money order is. then he asked if he could send a money order from his bank? fine. again, he will take it. I make out a shipping tag. he didnt send his phone number, I ask and he sends it. Then he writes can he send pay pal he will send an extra 10$, and is it used? before I answer he writes forget it, sorry to waste your time.
I dont have much hair left to be pulling out. 55 years old and an advance degree and this is what I do for a living. I am as dumb as him.

I am with u Ron am 55 also and or the year of work some people u just can't help I think that's why I have grey hair now lol

I was thinking that very same thing.

#2815 1 year ago
Quoted from kruzman:

So every girlfriend/wife I have ever lived with is cold at all times (a lot had to do with the way they dressed, some just wanted to whine) and always complaining that its too cold in the house.
So when I see these healthy young women hanging around in the cold vacuum of space, wearing just a thong... I gotta call BS!

Yup that’s for sure

#2834 1 year ago
Quoted from kruzman:

I am old enough that I tell the same dam story all of the time!
I had this woman living in my guest house that I called red (she died her hair, and often half of her forehead red). She was all right to have around. feisty old broad, but she was getting up there in the years. I dont know what was wrong with her guts, but you couldnt have the shortest convo with her, without her farting. Every 3rd step... honk! she didnt feel it or hear it or care, but it took me months to be able to not either giggle, or about choke from trying to hold back my laughs.
Man I hope that doesnt happen to me!
Its bad enough that your body looks gross when you get old, but your butt gets loose too!

Ya I hear ya my wife works in a old age home and the story's she tell me about everyone in there make me laugh but I think we all going too have something about us that other people are going too say wth lol

#2856 1 year ago
Quoted from Tophervette:

A Stern Insider is the New software and QR code reader that costs several hundred dollars to an already expensive new pinball machine from Stern. You flash your personal QR code from paper or phone to the reader. It then puts your name on the display of the machine. It records your game play, score and various completions of events in the game. You can look at your game results later on the computer in Sterns website. You can also compare yourself to others that play the same title. Think Big Brother of Pinball world. It knows when you play, where you play, how often you play, how good or bad you play. LOL.

Lol who needs that too play pinball lol

I was lucky enough to pick up this NOS Congo playfield and have Kruzman clear it. He brought to to PATZ for me and I just opened it at home. It’s spectacular. I took a side by side picture with my Voltan from CPR without Kruzman clear. Look at the difference in the lights reflection.
Thank you Ron! One day this Congo will come off location and will get a full restoration!

Once I get started on drum sticks or pop tarts, I cant stop. If i have the time I fry cinnamon PT'S in butter!!!oh yea!

Yes Ron we all have things we can't stop having I got many lol in joy what ever you really like

#3709 6 months ago
Quoted from kruzman:

Has anyone seen this?
I saw a video of people put tin foil on the counters, and when the cats jump up on the corner, they instantly jump backward off it, like the counter is on fire. I dont let max and ruben, aka blackie and moma in the house, but that would be a great way to train them. I will have to see if I can figure it out for my tenants black cadillac coupe. Its got an amazing black paint with silver metal flake in it. I cant imagine what it would cost, but stupid asses max/blackie insists on goin up there, more than likely for the sun on black.
I saw it on tic toc because someone posted a tictic of one of my pfs arriving. I suppose that means my biz is going to get hacked by the PRC. I am so important, I am sure they have been waiting for a way to get to me. If I disappear it was Xi.

Yes it does work I have seen it before cats just don’t like tin foil at all

#3749 6 months ago
Quoted from PinballGalore:

Hahaha similar situation. Just shipped 12 games abroad as we moved this summer. Now they’re all stuck in the living room and all the paraphernalia boxes around. Can’t wait to find a place and showcase my collection to…. well, MYSELF. ;-p
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

This is what I have to do when we move looks like your getting there though

#3751 6 months ago
Quoted from PinballGalore:

Gonna have to. My wife won’t put up with this for long. Since they couldn't be insured
Other than total loss for the boat ride, I didn’t bother, so I’m not rushing to unwrap them in case something did get damaged and I’d have to report.

Yes I hear ya it’s a big move for sure it’s never fun ,I have been here for 30 years so it will be a really big move when I do lol

#3766 5 months ago
Quoted from cottonm4:

Thank you. I just put one in my cart.

Yes great light

#3768 5 months ago
Quoted from kruzman:

I just ordered one also. for 14 bucks, if it breaks I am not going to feel sad.

Hi Ron which size did u get for 14 bucks

#3773 5 months ago
Quoted from kruzman:

I bought the one from Ben's link.
do they make a bigger one, because if I like it I am going to buy 2 more. If your glasses got ruiend by splashing clear on them, and you are trying to get away with dime store readers, because its 850 to replace the glasses I had, the more light, the better I can see!

Ok great Ron thanks

Ron is the king and kicks ass

#3809 5 months ago
Quoted from mmr61184:

You know me Ron NOS all the way I’ll spend whatever it takes. I will even go as far as restored original if you can locate one not too blown out to redo. And yes I would rather buy from you any day of the week because I know I am getting what you say it is and your as honest as can be and stick to your word just like you did with that NOS TZ you sold me earlier this year

Yes I am the same way NOS or Original that can be fixed its the only way too go

#3814 5 months ago
Quoted from kruzman:

wado the tornado , does indeed rock, but those 1950's pfs slathered with "heavy lead enriched ink", are something also. On the em pfs from the wood rail days, they are so uncluttered and simple that they really show the wear and flaws. So a new pf is important on those games. On the other hand it is more common to see a game from 1958 with a nicer pf than a sys 11, because of that rich ink back then, and amazing wood.

They never make anything theses days like they use too anymore because they want too too buy more and more not too last 30 years plus

#3817 5 months ago
Quoted from cottonm4:

Who is "they", please?

I just mean anything u buy theses days like cars ,washers and dryers they are made too last like the old days and that goes with everything

#3820 5 months ago
Quoted from cottonm4:

When I was growing up, a car got 10 miles to the gallon, was lucky if it got 50,000 miles on the clock before it went to the junk yard. The paint jobs were good for 3-4 years unless the car lived in a garage.
Now, cars get 30-40 miles per gallon, will travel for 200K - 300K miles, or more. They don't make them like they used to and boy, am I glad.
Washers, dryers, refrigerators don't last a lifetime like they used to do. I'll give you that.
Back to Ron.

Say what about cars trust me the old cars went too 450 k plus if u take care of them and they are builded like tanks ,cars today are pop cans OMG and now back to Ron’s PF

#3835 5 months ago
Quoted from kruzman:

21 votes or 64% for a nos pf even if it will cost more
11 votes or 33% voted for which ever is cheaper
1 vote for prefer a repro pf
Now I wonder how that would compare to the general pinball population.

Yes I restore pins and the time it takes too do a PF change u want the best that's out there and when I keep one and its bolted too the floor it's the only way too go NOS

#3882 5 months ago
Quoted from Mike_M:

Ron, how many IJs do you have baking in the oven now? It does seem like Mirco corrected the snaggletooth on the more recent runs.

Yes Mirco did but the clear coat sucks never dries lol

#3884 5 months ago
Quoted from MiniPinHead:

Another reason to use Ron

Yes that’s for sure Ron is the best with his clear

#3909 5 months ago
Quoted from jrcmlc:

Is a 3.73mm rise in the middle rear of my new CPR playfield an issue? lol[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Yes Ron is right as always when the side rails goes on both sides it will be fine what I like too do is put wood on both sides too keep it flat until it's installed just helps it but that's me

#3928 5 months ago
Quoted from kruzman:

Thats exactly what I was doing, both trying to make it last, but it also takes several jobs before the wool pad is matted down the way I like it, even after cleaning. I am using a new one right now and there are fuzzies everywhere!

Yes new is always good but it takes time too work it in the way u like it

#3931 5 months ago
Quoted from kruzman:

I have never owned a white water game.

Very fun game too play for sure

#3948 4 months ago

They make the PFs back then way way better and people care what they are making back then this doesn't happen theses days it's all about the money today too bad and that's with most things

#3989 4 months ago
Quoted from kruzman:

I dont know how to do it. I had a restored wizard that had some of the winds taken off the right flipper. I like my games up at a higher angle, and that game was notorious for not having enough power to make the arch shot to the flags, from the r flipper.

I don't know why u would want less power too the flippers lol

#3991 4 months ago
Quoted from slochar:

Removing windings increases power on coils not reduces it lol

Oh it does how sweet is that

#3994 4 months ago
Quoted from slochar:

It usually doesn't work for flipper coils though.... just single winding. The power stroke winding is usually in the center. It would improve the holding performance for sure

Thanks for the info good too know

#4003 4 months ago
Quoted from kruzman:

come to think of it, I may be mistaken and the fella that restored my bally wizard, may have used a slightly different coil for the right side, so I could have the angle jacked up. rather than removing wires from the coil. I am old.

Yes way easier too change the coil it self lower or higher what u need for the left or right flipper

#4034 4 months ago
Quoted from kruzman:

Does anyone have a dremmil that has a speed adjustment, or know if that is a tool made that I can plug it in to that allows to adjust up or down the voltage which will bring the speed down?
My dremmil has 2 speeds, way too fast, and launch. I have to be so careful when I do this operation. If I could bring the speed down 40%, the finish product would be better.

I thought most of them have a speed adjustment theses days don't they

Quoted from Murphdom:

Any chance of doing a Canada Dry playfield? There’s a whole thread on it here. I’m sure you can get people to commit to the minimum based on the thread. Even if you couldn’t I have a strong feeling that you could post them up for sale and they would be gone fast since a ton of people aren’t on pinside.

Yes best clear coat guy in the world

Quoted from kruzman:

This is the second Mirco to arrive with a busted corner. The sttng had one, and one came at christmas with several.
This is totally fixable, but I just wanted to put it out there.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Wow hey when u think it’s getting better it goes back 3 steps

#4374 49 days ago
Quoted from kruzman:

exactly. You really have to make an effort to better your self, but its effort well spent. I dont get to do much games my self, but I feel such a part of the projects going on. Yesterday I saw my name was mentioned on a post about a quicksilver on face book. The game looked awesome, and it was nestled between 2 beautiful DMD games. The owned motioned that I did the pf, and it totally made my day! I cant overstate how much I rely on being a part of what is going on here.

Yes tons of work goes into your PFs u do and everyone that has one done by Ron u know u really have something that’s going too last for a very long time and I restore games my self and too do a full restore takes for ever keep up the great PFs u do cheers

Quoted from kruzman:

I built crates all day yesterday, and it will be all day today. I finally got new bifocals. So they are only 2 days old.
I stacked 5 sheets of 3/8 plywood and 2 or 3 sheets of underlyment, and screwed them all together so I could cut them all at once. They have the bi focal part up too high in the lenses so I am getting the fish bowl effect, no straight lines.
So on those sheets of plywood I make 4 cuts. I make the first 3 stacks 23 in wide and the last stack 26.
The last 2 stacks I totally screwed the cut and they measure 23 at the top and 22.5 at the bottom, as well as the last stack is 26 and 25.5 at the bottom. So I ruined about 3 sheets of plywood. Of course they are cut too small so its not like I can cut them again. That plywood is 34.99 and 38.99 a sheet, so I pissed away 100 bucks.
Later I did something I have never done in 35 year of working with nail guns. I finally shot my self in the finger with a 18 guage brad. at least it wasnt the framer. About an hour later my screw gun came off the screw and went in to my knuckle, and broke open a couple veins.
At that point I sat down lit a smoke and thought about my life. It was 10 pm and there were cartoons on tv. time to quit before I loose an eye.

Hi Ron am a wood working for many many years that kind of stuff happens too the best of us and I have learn the hard way sometimes and scary stuff sometimes and as u said u sit down and think what just happen and think about life but now what I do and have learned take u time and think about what u are doing and for me things don’t happen like that very often anymore like they did years ago it’s always most time when your in a hurry or not thinking about it ,we all hear needs u around too make everyone’s PF 100% cheers bud keep up the great work u always do

Lots of holes in that tarp

#4449 26 days ago
Quoted from kruzman:

Before I installed all of those pink panther inserts I wanted to do an experiment with the 2 best kinds of glue I have. One is epoxy which has no elasticity to it at all, the other is a mid grade construction adheasive, and it has plenty of elasticity like the factory glue.
Unfortunately I sanded the sides of both inserts. That is not an option in pf manufacturing. In fact cpr bought new inserts and they didnt sand the sides and on the first runs of cyclone and fire power, the hot dog inserts pop right out. I bought one, it sucked.
So I tested them the way I remove them but without adding heat. I find a deep dish socket that fits perfect so I am pushing on the edges of the insert, not in the middle area where I could damage it. On both I gave it 48 hours to cure in a room above 65 deg f. On both I put all of my 260lbs on the socket, and then even tried to add some momentum. I got no movement on either. I think the key is sanding the edges for the glue to bite to. I use this sea witch pf for experiments. It would be great to belt sand for a hard top.
Inconclusive.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

As for the glue what I use for inserts is a glue that’s used for flooring it’s the same they used for PFs with heat too pull them out when needed

#4452 26 days ago
Quoted from Tophervette:

Example of flooring glue, please.

Am not sure what it’s called but it’s white glue that turns clear when dry just like what’s on PFs for the inserts in flooring it’s used for VCT tile and some hardwood flooring ,it never goes hard and u use a heat gun too lift the flooring

#4458 25 days ago
Quoted from kruzman:

I think I know what you are talking about. it has some heavy fumes? and you let it set up for a min or 2 before you put it together?

Yes as for installing flooing as what I do you put this glue on the floor and let it dry first which never really drys then u install the flooring and if u want too take one out u use a heat gun too do so same as inserts I have used it in some of my games works great

#4460 25 days ago
Quoted from kruzman:

I know that material for the floors, I have used it with the 3/16" trowell I think and give it like 1 or 2 min to set and its Hellasticky. Also I can smell the solvent, so I wouldnt have to sand the sides of the inserts, though I would still rough them up a little since I am only doing 25 on that pink panther.

Yes u got it same stuff many many years ago they only had that glue in black for floors but theses days they have many kinds the stuff I use for floors is white but turns clear when dry great stuff for sure because it only takes a heat gun to get it off

#4462 25 days ago
Quoted from kruzman:

I have torn out several vct floors on cement, and I didnt know about the heat. That glue sometimes is like cement. I would use a 5 in one and a hammer and just take up silver dollar size chunks (in spots. Other places they came right up) I will grab some at lowes and do my experiment. The reason I am apprehensive of the epoxy is it will never come out. never.

Yes your right some goes really hard depends how long it’s been there for it would take many years too dry right out but yes this glue is the same what’s in the PFs when I did my and I wanted to find the same stuff they used just because if I ever wanted too take a insert back out again just use heat and out it comes again too fix it

#4476 23 days ago
Quoted from Dono:

Hey Ron, could you provide a link or details to which 3 mil. mylar you recommend?

And that glue is??? Thanks!

Am not sure what it’s called but it’s flooring glue for VCT and some glue for wood flooring

#4483 22 days ago
Quoted from kruzman:

I am afraid they will get pirated. I have other friends who make mods, and the second they list their new invention, someone else is now selling them. the install kit income is so important that I probably wouldn't be able to stay afloat with out it

Yea good idea Ron don’t list them your better off that way

#4487 22 days ago

Yes it does look like a dull bit was used they just don’t care theses days

Ok now I heard back from larry evidently a shadow was stolen from him at the Texas show. I havent had a shadow sent here in over 6 months, so its not here. No idea how I got involved or how it became a TAF, but I wil;l give the benefit of the doubt it s a misunderstanding.
Getting stolen from sucks so he is probably pissy himself.

Yea that’s for sure but why they would think it’s there lol be on me wow
