Quoted from kruzman:That would be cool. That title and era of titles are really rare for nos pf. I am guessing because it was another bankruptcy period in the pinball industry. I have seen one used for sale and I dont think ever a nos in 15 years of focusing on pfs more than games. So you have your work cut out for you.
Mirco always asks what titles from the old days should he do, get a bunch of people to write him requesting that title. It will take cpr 6 years, but mirco seems to do them in less than a year. Then of course send it to me after it dries for 4 months.
Cpr won’t make it and Mirco would need a really nice example to scan. Very unlikely to ever happen.
Quoted from kruzman:Ok, well life is often long. I will keep my eyes open for a nice used plank
Thank you
Quoted from Tsskinne:I think you should do more of this!
More Lizard porn Ron! Your customers have spoken.
Quoted from kruzman:Here is a mistake I hope someone can take advantage of. This is a NOS cleared TX sector, that I did long ago. Long enough that I didnt do the back and sides in poly, like I do now.
The pf was proped against the wall, partially under the ac unit. on a really hot humid couple days the ac dripped on to the front side of the pf, right by the edge. So what I got after it dried, is the water was absorbed by the wood on the left edge, starting from about 15 inches from the bottom, all the way to the bottom of the pf, the clear seperated from the wood. The farthest it traveled tward the middle was a 1/4 inch.
At the bottom the cement was pitched I guess and the water only got to about 60% from the left side. On the bottom it wicked up a little further.in some places a little more than an inch.
So I got some really thin needles for the glue kit in the kruzman pf install kit, and where I couldI would get the needle under the clear, and I injected the glue I have in the kit. I went thru a dozen needles because they were so thin, and I couldnt find many places to get under. I got about 75% of the ghosting to be gone, and the edge is locked down with glue. so when the pf edge and the apron are installed, there will be no issue.
I polyurethaned the back last night, and I will do the edges when I get a foam brush.
Its been 4 or 5 weeks since it happened and it is done and read to be gone.
I wouuld like to sell this for 500, but I will take offers. Its a very rare pf and I am giving my followers here first chance at it, then I will offer it to everyone else.
I can take more pics, answer questions, whatever. Its selling as it is, except for some poly on the edges
The clear isnt perfect, but its better than most of the stuff I see out there. This have been very stressful for me, and I just want to be done with it. I dont have any doubt about it being installed, but its also cool wall art until used. I took lots of pics, and I measured how far up the ghosting started and it was 15 in
