I am looking for a gottlieb Genie game. I want to do a topless pf for it, and restore it. Must be within 100 miles of kalamzoo/battle creek

#4552 37 days ago

You wanted the best...
well they couldnt make it
But here's what you get. From Queens NY KISS

This is NOS. It was a little better than ave condition, but that still means a big gap between in the concave inserts and the wood, and a lot of planking. I maxed out the paint budget on this, but I wasnt giddy with how the insert keylines came out so I took half off the paint charge. It will look and paly awesome, I am just so critical of my work.

I still see the bottom half of this pf as a uteris moving down to the cervix and the vag with the 500 roll over wire switches for save and drain as the filopian tubes. Yes there are a couple extra, but you know what I mean.
the 2x insert is the vag opening and the shoot again the b hole

#4554 37 days ago

40,000 is the belly button and the 80,000 the clitoris
ace and chris are labia majora and gene and paul minor
Its all right there!!

#4555 37 days ago

and you are all going to think I am crazy if I say the dragons up at the pop bumpers are shaped as boobies.

You've been staring at that playfield too long, but now that you mention it..

I wonder if christiansen is still alive? If you know that he is let me know I will write him and ask. gene told me that he was my kind of artist.
Before I did this, starting my first year in college, I realized that you can say you are an artist and get away with all kinds of perversion. I still use it all of the time when people come over and see the nudes on most walls. The pic of the hooker from the 20's in the bathroom. all in the sake of art!
half of me is serious, I mean the curves of the female are the most beautiful in the known world, But on the other had, photography is barely art. ha!
I will leave it at that, I am going to get in trouble. It will be funny when I am dead and someone searches my name who knew me.

Ron,

I ordered a playfield from Mirco. He said he is printing it this week an would ship late this week or next. Doesn't that mean the playfield needs to sit for a few weeks before I use it?

Thanks

When they make pf's they make them on fresh wood that has not cured out yet. when you receive it, its going to look perfect. if you put it in the closet and pull it out in 5 months its a 70a5 chance it will look so bad you wont want it. Its because when the wood cures it pushes the inserts up and if there is wood grain it will raise. each one is different and some change very very much and a few not much at all. I highly suggest you let it sit 4 months before I get started on it. I will start it any time you want, but if the wood is going to metamorphize, its going to do it no matter whos clear is on it.
also they do their clear all at once, which means its basically one thick coat. It is also going to cure and shrink. I sand it off down to the ink, but its a fact.

Make sure to take the pf out of the box to cure. the better the circulation the faster it works.
Like I said, some, like IJ really change and the inserts pop up, some dont change much if he has had the wood there for a long time. It seems like he practices Just in time inventory.
let me know if you have any questions.

#4563 33 days ago

I should have included this in the last post. you can install it right away. You just dont know what it is going to look like. There is more than 50% chance it will be unacceptable for the amount work and money you are putting in to it. Sometimes they look fine though. I have pulled them out of the closet after 5 months and have my heart drop in my gut.

Is there anyone going to allentown that can pick up a populated A. spiderman pf for me, that will be going to mich, or the 80 toll road thru ohio and IN. That is about 75 miles south of me and I could meet you off the toll road. let me know if so. thanks

#4567 28 days ago

I came in for lunch before blocking the last grit (3000) on the nos 007. I am going to try to get it polished out tonight. its super humid out right now. Since I cool the pf with ice water while polishing, they dont care for the heat and humidity, but I gotta pay the rent.
so watch for the pics.

#4568 28 days ago

Wow hey things u have to do because of the heat crazy bud

#4569 28 days ago

I use a 13 amp milwaukee buffer that does about 6500rpms. It gets super hot, plus the high cut compound...
so I use ice water.
anyway back to the coal mine!

I am going to Allentown again. But am traveling south afterward to home with sheets of invis glass and a Pool Sharks Head in my Hot Wheels 2013 Camaro. Wish I could help you out. I would have liked a tour of your collection of PF's. My NOS Doctor Who PF still looks like new that you did for me. It plays so fast compared to the stock original Diamond Plate that is 30+ years old. I have seen that some Canadian people are going to Pinfest and could swing by your way, but that is up to them. Suggest you post your request in the Pinfest Thread. https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/pinfest-2024-buy-sell-trade-want-no-hotel-talk/page/36#post-8147934.

I havent seen this guy since last summer. He is not a full grown eagle but he is big. still I dont worry about him trying to grab fatty.
Eagles do not take any chances with humans. as soon as he saw me he was gone fast.

Thats great!!!! I envy that your dog is photogenic.
I had a blue healer named Rainey until 2017, and I miss her and would love another, but living alone, its hard to get a dog. I wouldnt even consider doing a puppy alone.
That dog looks like a bit of a devil/trouble maker. Maybe its just the pic or age.

In the last 3 years, 2 of the cars here have been immobilized due to field mice eating the wire harness. I have no idea how they get in the car, but they do. a cadillac coup and my subaru sedan. The guy at the Cadillac dealership told my tenant that he sees it every week.
So it makes having a couple "working cats" around here.
Their names are fat and fatter. They had regular names at one time, but they are so fat, and fatter. They let the possum-joe eat their food every day, they are total pacifists, but fat is a eater of mice and birds. its amazing how she can do surgery on the animals and leave the uninterrupted digestive trac, as well as the kidneys. she has no fingers and she leaves the clean digestive trac right outside my door. I have learned to look before I step finally.

#4575 28 days ago

When the mice ate my mother inlaws Camry wiring harness, I asked the dealership why they would eat plastic. At first he said they must be hungry. Then laughed. There was some kind of legislation to make wiring harnesses bio-degradable. So they are made of vegetable coating and not oil derived plastic. That is why the mice eat wire harness now.

That is what I was told also.

I polished out the nos 007 I have been working on for 6 months. These pics are after block sanding to 3000 grit, and second and thrie pics are when I am done polishing. now I have to clean the compound out of the cut out edges. I have seen many really nice restorations with a nice clear and the edges of the holes are all yucky with white compound. It takes an hour to clean an older pf like this and about an hour, 20 min to do a new nos pf.
so there are still more pics of this pf to come. After I get it clean I apply one coat of protective wax. I dont know if it make a difference, but it makes the surface look good after the cleaning.

Haha. You are 100% correct sir. He is, even though 9 years young, a troublemaker. Too much Terrier in a small package. Always have to watch him, especially around people who dont know how to approach dogs. Im blessed that I can bring little OTTO to work with me every day.

Sorry for offtopic, not gonna derail this thread any further I just love the playfields I will never afford!

They did post their Diner for sale as well. I was shocked at the cost of the playfield. But people can sell an item at any cost they want.

So I lost the before-pics to this pf, but they are on this thread, between thanksgiving and christmas.
There was a budget on the work, so first I epoxied the inserts, then leveled all of the inserts and painted the key lines. Then I started painting. doing the places where you get the most for your money or where it looks the worst. The white under the arch plastics was bad enough that it was going to show, so I had to air-brush that color, also the clock lane was the worst as far as planking goes.
I adore this pf.

also if anyone is paying attention I shipped roadshow, hobbit, POTC CE and IM prem today. contact me for tracking. shipping prices are insane all of these were east of denver and 2 were over $110!!!!!

I forgot to mention I painted the bonus multiplier inserts, so when the light is behind all that lights up is the number and the X. Usually from the facrory the whole round insert lights up. I blacked out everything but the number and of course the X

That is one amazing chunk of steel. I know the D3's just from being in to historic equipment. either the D3 or D5 was the standard. they sold many many. Prob both. I have never operated a dozer before.
Being an operator is one of the professions that I didnt know about when I was young. If I would have it is one that I would have pursued.

#4597 26 days ago
Quoted from kruzman:

Being an operator

Self taught by just using around the property. I've never had anything with a joystick. Cat's seem pretty easy to operate. Use them for doing projects (never ending) on the property. It's all old stuff I pick up at auctions or cheap and work on them. The 2 heavies, Insley 875 exc., Cat D8 both are '71s. 45k and 50k weight wise.

Any leads on a TAF pf?
