I will be starting a new batch of jobs in the middle, or at least end of sept, and there is only 1 or 2 in line so far. So if you have been waiting to send a pf this way, the next couple weeks may be the best time for both of us.

Quoted from Ballypalooza:You ready for one of these?! Maybe I can get it to Tommy to hitch a ride if he’s coming up.

With the newborn I'm not sure if I'm making up there until October unfortunately. Maybe Labor day I guess, but I do have a batch of playfields to take to him whenever that is so if you want to bring it on over just let me know! I recently moved and have a lot more storage space now.
Congratulations Tommy, hope things are going well for your family. We may be going up there Labor Day weekend too. Let’s see how it goes and we will get him some more work to do. Thx
Quoted from JLay:Just had to make the first cut, there’s no turning back now…

What did you use to drill out the space for the tee-nut here? Looks really clean.

I think he used the kruzman pf install kit and a really steady hand. Either way it looks perfect
I often use the hole sizer in the kit as a template to draw circles.

Cool, thanks Ron. I'll bust out the kit and give it a whirl.

In the up right side corner, I see my handwriting/scribble (Flas) and I realized thats the side edge of one of my ship crates.
That embryon is one of the nicest non installed pfs I have seen. I have seen a couple 2 installed original pfs in better shape, but for the most part all of those pfs are smoked. Mirco has asked me a couple times what titles he should do, and I didnt answer, but embryon for sure. looks like they only made 2200 of the game, but its such a good game I would think a lot would be interested in restoring it. I would give my right nut for a restored embryon game. If they made a pill that you could take to not be horny all of the time I would take mine every day. I am 55 and single, live alone. Being horney, yea, thats just great!
I could clear that pf and do the inserts, I see some script in the up/left side. If you have decals made, I can paint, then apply them, and paint them in. Back when I did restore, I never did one of those because there is just soo much work. I have done 1 NOS version.
Ditto to the above. I have an Embryon. Like most, mine is damaged in the bonus area. I’d be on the list for a repro. I’m sure there are others in the same boat.
That is a nice and rare playfield. Wish it was mine.
I got a letter from mirco and he is in the process of making embryons right now. He said he is very backlogged (like everyone else) and they prob wont be ready till Christmas time.
I think that cool as hell!!! Thats a restored game I would love to own!
Tommy Daane, keep your eyes open for a game for sale in the 4 state area.
I finished 2 jobs this weekend. heading out to photograph them soon as my last cup is done. I cleaned the holes out this morning while watching south park.

You got it!
Bunch of pics today. first is a mata hari restore kit that comes with a pf that I tweeked and cleared last year. Comes with custom oak side rails painted red, A kruzman install kit, Heavy duty shipping crate, and a set of new CPR plastics.
If you are interested or have a question, PM me.
Here is a beauty TOTAN. Its a first run CPR, but not the one I shot a couple 4 weeks ago with all of the runs down the sides. This one was gobbed up plenty with leveler and clear. I finished it a while ago, like 6 weeks, and I didnt like the way it looked, and I re did it and let it sit a month, to make sure its right. Looks like the last coat was 6/22. Anyway I love it now
MAIDEN GALESBURG!
This is a pro. The prem will be done next week. If this is yours drop me a line and if the premium is yours, drop me a line and I will get you invoiced so it can go to fed ex once its packed.
Quoted from rockwell:Everything looking sweet, Ron. As always. About to get into a playfield swap (and more) for one of your customers, a Quicksilver! Can't wait to open up the Kruzman Krate (TM) and see it for myself.
Kruzman Krate (tm) love it!
Quick silver is my most popular job this year, or since it came out, I have done so many. Never owned that game, in fact never played it!!
Quoted from rockwell:Yeah, it seems like you're doing a handful of them! It's one of my favorites, playfield art-wise.
Stern wasn't exactly invested in to their art department. Quicksilver is perfect art wise.

is someone making these? I need a new PF for mine.
quicksilver is just an amazing game chaps - if you haven't played it go and try and find one. It's my favourite Stern Electronics game.

Dragonfist is faster and better but yes both awesome games
Quoted from NeilMcRae:is someone making these? I need a new PF for mine.
Mirco told me this week he is working on repros for embryon right now, they will be available around christmas
Quoted from Tsskinne:Dragonfist is faster and better but yes both awesome games
with a reported 1870 produced, Dragonfist must have went mostly over-seas, because except pics of yours, I have never seen one. it is a sweet game. I would like to play it. do you have it on route or at home?
Similar to Iron maiden (old stern) and viper (also old stern) most of those titles went over seas.

Nah must have been looking at a different game Ron, Dragonfist is only about 300 produced according to IPDB.
There is no doubt it rare, because I had never seen one or heard of one until tommy told me about it. so if they did make a bunch they went to romania or afghanistan.
The book says its worth 525, but I like you tommy, so I will offer you 600 if you deliver it.
It works 100% and has a cleared nos pf right?
I am finishing the SPACE SHUTTLE (cpr) this weekend. So if you own it, please send me an email. I think it has the owners name on it but I havent been out there yet today. I have been trying to get the invoices out the week its going to be done, so there isnt a big wait time after I finish, and the customer gets it.
This black paint I am using, matches perfect, but even when I do 2 coats, when I wipe the pf down with a wet towell, then dewax the pf, it wipes off some of the black paint. I am going to take a good look at the paint work on those shields when lunch is over
Here is a NOS WPT with its last coats sprayed, gotta cure before block and polish
First coat on a BSD to see how it looks. I think I am just going to work the circle insert right by the rat hole. you cant see it because its under art, but the crack around it always bothers me. This is a used pf that is not getting restored, but cleared. I still have to give it a look over and decide if I need to do anything first. I dont mind a couple hours., I just cant do a restoration, unless you want to pay the 65 per hour shop fee.
Here is a NOS high speed that I drilled and dimpled over the weekend. It was dimpled but not drilled. Its usually the other way around. also there were a couple 10 dimples that were not in the same place as my used pf template. if it was more than 2cm away and not going to show when installed I added the extra dimple.
Quoted from kruzman:And here is what the bastards did to my wire harness under the back seat. The transmission guys found this after they put in the new trans and radiator, and it was still getting lots O error codes.
I talked to dayhuff about 2 cats he knows that are looking for a home.

Not just a Subaru issue, manufacturers switched to soy based harnesses that are better for the environment, but extra tasty for rodents:

wow that article was interesting. a zero land fill factory. That is so far from my reality of growing up in the factories and loading docks of down river detroit. I cant even begin to explain how much shipping /packing waste there was from parts coming from a factory or warehouse 2 miles up jefferson.
I would like to tour that factory. When I was in milwaukee I went to the harley plant as well as the red wing boot factory. I love factories!!!
The fact that they made the wire insulation able to decompose, as well as not use imported oil makes me happy. I am pissed at the mice not the makers. I have a snap trap in the trunk of each car (there was mouse poop in the 1997 F250 also and I know thats good ol petroleum based insulation. It would not surprise me if there was lead and benzine in it also), as well as packets of Mouse away, which has some hippy smelly oils that I guess repel mice. It smells better than all of the mouse poop and piss that was in there before.
Thanks for the link on the subaru wires.
This coming sunday I am getting two brother cats from J dayhuff, who's step son is caring for a bunch of strays. Its about 50/50 if they acclimate and like the situation, here at the compound. Every one works, and if you piss or duke in my barns you are in trouble.
This makes so much sense now. My mother inlaws Toyota Camry, which sat for almost a year, due to her being in the hospital then nursing home, would not start. I jumpered it. I charged the battery up. Checked the voltage good, but would not start. I had towed it towed to local dealer. They showed me where mice or squirrels had chewed the wiring harness under the hood. I could not understand mammals chewing rubber and wire? I understood why the Sharks would bite our survey hydrophones carrying 12volts, emitting electric signals to the sharks lines laterallis, sensory organs.
Quoted from kruzman:Mouse away, which has some hippy smelly oils that I guess repel mice. It smells better than all of the mouse poop and piss that was in there before.
Honda even offers an official rodent wrap made with chili peppers: https://www.collegehillshonda.com/product/4019-2317.html
Likely works on MI mice, but not the LA Cajun mice…
Still trying to finish all of the paint work. Pretty sure all of the pfs that needed paint are done except the SS, which needs more prep first. Both of these pfs got double coated black.
The CP needed about 75% of the inserts painted.
On the Sharkeys shootout, only the big arrows needed paint, plus 5 or 6 here and there. I painted the wear at the ball hole also.
The sharkeys shoot out is for sale!
I am trying to do pfs that are not repro'ed like rocky and bullwinkle, and sharkeys shootout.
Quoted from kruzman:I shot some quick pics as I was heading out to lunch.
here is the long awaited sample TZ with the inserts painted and locked down with 2 coats of clear
