are the solenoids on the kohout board one shots? i put a mpu and driver in a flash. 3 weeks later, it baked a pop bumper coil. its 5 hrs from my house .
i sent kohout an email, no reply so far. its the first time i used one, i always used rottendogs, i believe they were one shots.

    thanks

One shots would be a good idea, but I don't know that either RD or Kohout implemented one shots.

Implementation of the gottlieb like one shot circuit is a good idea but I don't think it has been done by either replacement manufacturer. Consider adding a 1.25a slow blow fuse to every special solenoid. That way if the switch sticks closed the fuse should blow before the coil and/or driver transistor burns. Fuse holders can be added under the PF near the coil or there is a special solenoid saver that will put fuses inline with all six special solenoid circuits near the special solenoid return connector in the head.
