I wouldn't worry too much about the tab alignment unless there's a couple that are grossly out. If the rivet holes are worn, you'll have a little vertical play, but I'm sure you checked for that. Side to side, obviously just tweak the bend a little.

Yes sir I dug into them this weekend and saw what they were all about. Had a couple of rivets worn - used epoxy ... they look pretty good now.
