I have too many projects, and this may be one to sell. It has a pristine backglass, and the playfield looks pretty good. It has a cut down to the wood where the ball hits the playfield when leaving the gobble hole, should be able to fill and paint match easily. The fuse block and power cord has been replaced, and new rubbers installed. The internals need cleaned, and all the steppers are gummy (I suspect previous owner tried to lubricate them) and will need to be cleaned. Cabinet has usual scuffs, and is yellowed. Someone carved their intials on one side. The score reels reset to zero during start up, but the game won't start due to a stepper not going to its start position.

I can get pics if needed. Any idea of what I should sell it for? Thanks

The Gott was never produced. If it had, it was SS.

Gobble hole? Kick-out hole. Balls don't "leave" a gobble hole. Just nitpicking.

I dunno, two or three hundred maybe, if you're lucky?

Hmm, there is a 1950 Gottlieb Knockout woodrail that has gobble holes but no score reels. Op, care to provide pics please?

It was an EM, and it's a desirable title.

Gobble holes could be found on EM games (holes that would "gobble" the ball). Like on this game: http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=2474&picno=35118&zoom=1

However, it looks like neither Gottlieb or Bally Knockout has any actual gobble holes.

Sorry, I guess I have my terminology wrong - Kickout hole, Bally, 1975, EM. The games sub section did not give any idea of pricing, which was why I turned here. Thanks

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the input.

Saw a Bally Knockout here in San Francisco area on CL for $500. Reasonable shape.

Ah, I saw the Gottlieb SS entry in ipdb right next to the Bally and didn't look further back, my bad.

Looks like my price SWAG was spot on though!
