I have a bally playboy that I just rebuilt the rectifier board, all new parts, pins and connectors, put it back in the game and when I first turn on the game the knocker solenoid pulls in and stays energized, I checked the solenoid driver board and all is good.

Any ideas on what the problem is.Inside BackBox.jpgInside BackBox.jpgRec-Finished.jpgRec-Finished.jpg

Shorted driver transistor on the solenoid driver board for the knocker coil.

Be sure the knocker coil is good, has the diode, and is wired correctly.

Ya know that was my first thought but I checked them all on-board and they checked good...... but maybe not, so I'll replace it regardless.

You may want to add a zip tie and move the wiring off the top of that heatsink. May not get hot enough to melt insulation but hey better safe than sorry.

Problem still persist, since last post new solenoid driver, power supply, MPU, lamp driver, knocker coil and diode.
