Work your way back from the mech. Check where the paper is scratched off the coil to ensure the wire isn’t severed on one of the wraps. If it looks good, check the connection at the molex. Then disconnect it there and measure resistance on the coil leads. You can check continuity on the connector wires back to the boards .. if that’s all good I would suspect the driving transistor.
