Looks great, I'm envious of your unbroken plastic reel cover too!

well you can tell it's been mended in the bottom right corner...but I'm happy with it, for now...

Those reels make the whole machine look cleaner.

Interesting! Looks like a stencil. Hopefully the order is the same on each slot.

I thought it was a replacement, cuz it's not half as dirty as ours were. Then again, if it was that machine in the arcade that was always "out of order"... how many games do you have on it? Just curious...

Quoted from the4horse:

If you were going to replace them you would at least try and keep the colours similar not change the pan from red to blue, the wagon black to blue and the lantern yellow to orange.

...unless those were the only colors they had to work with? (OK I guess I'm an American now, I can no longer write "colours" without it looking funny...)

yep.

and we say "about". eh?

not sure; but can you tell I'm trying to get out of the Senior Pinhead title by racking up more posts??

#110 11 years ago
Quoted from the4horse:

I cleaned 'em when I got it...they were pretty grimey!

I couldn't clean mine cuz they were cardboard and all I ended up doing was scraping a layer of paper away; what are yours made of?

Quoted from the4horse:

Your bug needs new tyres.

Nope; sorry; no "tyres" in Canada:

Quoted from MrBally:

There have been times when someone posts on RGP as well as here about an "Unobtainium" part. When I have such a part that I know I won't use or have more than one, I have sent them to the poster without charge. These reel strips are a payback for those cases which I really appreciate.
