Don’t have this machine anymore. My schematic showed power directly through the Outhole relay, so it should act consistent. Although, it is wired in parallel to Game Over relay and some other coils, so maybe one is drawing away power during reset only?

Edit: my memory of the game is more complex but may be wrong.

If I were troubleshooting, I’d power the game, set the score reels to zero, set the ball count to zero, unplug the motor service wire, hit replay/coin, and manually turn the motor.

As cody says, Motor 4-B activates the ball kicker. You can watch what happens at that moment during Ball = 0 versus Ball = 5 to find the difference. (It may take a few turns to get there, Outhole Relay has to trip first.)
