Hi. I am wondering if anyone has experience with the early solid state bally lamps. The bulbs I am using on my kiss are #44. The feature lamps, like the upper lanes and the grid matrix keeping killing bulbs at a very high rate. Game is on for many many hours a day (approx. 16 hours), but I find it unusual that the bulbs would blow in a month. I have new boards and redid the connectors. I do not think over resistance is an issue.

Would changing to #47 or a different bulb help?

I do not want to use LED.

Lloyd, could you please give me a little more detail on what/where you mean?

for example, should I see what voltage is going to the top rollover lanes when they are lit?

what voltage should I be getting.

I have been using new EIKO bulbs, I think they are ok quality. nothing great, but good enough and haven't had issues on other games.
