Bad advice. Don't believe it. Mantis makes some good products but if you want scoop protection, go with Cliffy. The thin/thick observation is not relavent. you have to cover what you want protected. I have seen a Kruzman cleared MB Playfield (mosh pit) that was protected by a Mantis and chipped. They set too low in the scoop.
