KISS put out a new album a year and a half ago and are selling out arenas all over the country this summer, even with the $100-200 ticket price. Name 5 other bands that have been around for 40 years that can say that. Seriously. Try to do it.

The 1979 Bally's KISS machine is what brought me into this hobby. I had never thought twice about owning a pinball, but I wanted the KISS machine to add to my collection of their memorabilia. Once I got the original machine to my house, I quickly discovered a new obsession and bought 4 more machines within a year.
KISS will promote the hell out of a new machine and people who never once thought about pinball will want one. Hopefully they'll get addicted to the hobby like we all have and this crazy little thing will carry on. We should all want every game to be a success, so Stern keeps cranking them out and other companies jump in the manufacturing game.
I love all the hate on KISS and this machine. Call me a KISS-tard all you want. I don't care what the price is. I'll be buying the Premium LE edition, new in box, the first day it's available. Stern knows there are 40-something-year-old guys like me with money to burn, who will buy anything with a KISS logo on it. I'll sit back now and wait to be bashed and made fun of it... I love it.
