Got me thinking so I looked at my flyer collection. I have 25 from Night Rider to Vector all show yellow flipper rubber. I agree with Quench, because I bought games with red flipper rubber many years ago. Some had the rubber turned inside out with a dirty side against the bat. So someone on location did that.
