Does anyone know if Kings of Steel uses 1 1/16in balls? I want to order a new set, but don't want to get the size wrong.

yes. An easy way to tell is to go to Marco and find the game in question. The parts listed act as a common parts guide: https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/116
Make sure and shoot marco an order as it acts like a decent parts cross-reference too.

Things are going well. I got it home and set up, it's playing great! We touched up the black on the playfield. It was awesome to get to meet you and see your collection. Hope you are doing well.

#kings-of-steel has 1 ball on the playfield (1-1/16") .... the ball for the "roll tilt" is smaller (15/16") if that's what you meant by "set"
