Wow, talk about coincidence! I am also working on a Kings and Queens and had the same exact issue, and discovered the same root cause - washer on the wrong side of the bracket. Glad you got yours working.

Mine is mostly working correctly now. I do have a question about gameplay.... when you complete all the aces, Kings, Queens, jacks... do all of the kick over holes light up at the same time? Or are they lit individually as the 0-9 unit rotates? On my game, currently the king and queen holes light up (but not at same time), and the ace and jack holes do not light at all.

Any help appreciated.
