buy it now or best offer.
what does someone know! there are what? 8 of these in the world?
it seems like half of those have been up for sale lately.
are they going to be remade? is it just speculation? is it the market on these just going crazy? does anyone even care?
why am I still typing?
im going to go play pinball now.
It's an extremely rare game (1 of 8/9) and at the end of the day someone out there will probably buy it.
Just because you or I don't have the money doesn't mean that it's not worth it to someone. I personally also don't have the money for a Lamborghini but they don't seem to have any problems moving them
Quoted from kidchrisso:And I thought prices were coming down.
For games where productions numbers are "thousands of units", yes....
Did I not see one just sell for 50k just 3 days ago. Now it's 80k.... oh wait, I know it's ebay...lol
I'd only buy them if there were 2 of them for 80k each. I like to keep them in pairs for linking up.
Quoted from mnpinball:That garage door opener really ties the room together.
Yup. It was wrapped up for two weeks in that garage while I was selling games. People were coming in and out a bunch and had no idea it was there
Gentlemen! If your wife was pissed off regarding your pins already, this Kingpin might really set her off.

Actually this is the best thing that could have happened! I'm showing her this one right now. TBL looks like a bargain
Quoted from shacklersrevenge:hmm. Makes King Kong that was on ebay last year for $24,000 look like a bargain.
I thought that sale didn't pan out and it went back up and sold in the mid teens or something?
I'm not a fan of Kingpin, though I've never played it. Not a good looking game in my view. How is the code?
Quoted from CaptainNeo:how do you know you can't?
Because I had one and it's not in them anywhere to be linked.
LTG : )™
Quoted from TigerLaw:I'm not a fan of Kingpin, though I've never played it. Not a good looking game in my view. How is the code?
Code is fairly complete. I've played two of the ones in existence (on the same day which is even crazier).
I believe Mark Ritchie said he'd like to modify the art somewhat during his talk at the NW Pinball Show this year too.
I really liked the game. I'd probably fall in the camp of liking it better than BBB too. Although I like BBB plenty.

The code is decent but not finished.
True story, game was wrapped up in a blanket when I bought this... Undid the blanket head slammed down to the ground... Shit my pants!!!!
There's errors in this code... Game will keep letting u rebuy it never ends.. Some ball code issues too...

Buuuuut. you didn't have 2.
Quoted from lllvjr:There's errors in this code... Game will keep letting u rebuy it never ends.. Some ball code issues too...
If you really got $60k for it that's amazing!
It kind of reminds me of a more updated version of a Ballys city slicker. I always love the idea of the theme. Never played it would love to though.
Quoted from CaptainNeo:how do you know you can't? when have you seen 2 of them side by side?
Actually at CAX (California Extreme 99' & another in the early 2000's) there were two together!
I'd love to find pics

Actually very fun. I wouldn't mind a remake at $6500, but not $8 grand fun.
Certainly not $80 grand fun. My wife isn't $80 grand fun.
I liked it better than BBB, but that was strictly my personal preference only.
I love the chick on the head side art. She's stacked and packing. Very sexy.
You had me 'til you said thousand... Eighty Thousand!
Eighty cents would have been a whole other story...
Quoted from Strange:You had me 'til you said thousand... Eighty Thousand!
Eighty cents would have been a whole other story...
Eighty cents and it would've stayed on eBay for eighty hundredths of a second. ; D
Quoted from pascal-pinball:I think this game has the wrong speaker panel
it's a Pinball Magic speaker panel
They didn't make a kingpin speaker panel for all if any of them. They are mostly all black speaker panels missing the cover up art. This one left the factory out to test with a pinball magic cover. It's been left on.
Very interesting that there have been multiple Kingpins for sale in the past month. Not sure if that signals anything, but would say it at least signals that the 8 people who do own one are a little nervous about the possibility of a remake. And, honestly, I can't blame them. Talking about people with $15,000 MMs upset they now have to sell for $7-10k. A drop from $60,000 to $10k or less would royally suck, even for someone with a good deal of money.
