I have a Space Mission and whenever the ball goes into either kickout, right side or left (next to the flippers) the kickouts continue to fire even after the ball has been ejected. If it happened to be one side then I'd think stuck switch on that side but what is stuck if this happens on both sides?

It's actually the Shooter relay (Kickouts are ones about midfield), which is under the PF. Likely the NO sw.

The SHOOTER RE drops out when the make/break switch 5-B on the score motor opens. Check that this make/break switch is opening properly when it reaches that cam on the score motor.

Quoted from dr_nybble:

That does the Eject AND Shooter; more likely sw. A on the Shooter.

Thanks for the responses. I'll take a look at that.

Actually need to retract the previous as I played it today. EITHER the kickouts and/or the shooters cause this action. It's not consistent. Sometimes the ball will drop in either one and they just keep ejecting. Usually when the ball is lost they stop but not always. Other times, they'll drop in and do what they're supposed to do. Also worth noting, when they go haywire and keep ejecting something on the coin door keeps pulling as well. Now the person who sold it to me put it on free play and taped up the quarter slot so is it possible they cut or removed a wire on the coin door that affects the shooters and kickouts?

Hmmmm, well check score motor 4C to start.

It is not the self-hold switch on the shooter relay; nor is it 4C, which pulses the coils.

You need to look at the M/B switch 5-B which will cause the relay to drop out after one revolution of the score motor.
