I've got a clean and original Key West. Mine shows the cabinet bottom a dark red while the sails are a lighter orangish-red color.

I was able to raise the Key West body enough to attach the legs. The platform is ablot 6 inches short of rising high enough to attach the head. I made a risky move to "walk" the head onto the cabinet while Kathleen held the hydrau (resized).jpg

Here's a scan of a NOS Key West front door. Colors are like new. The whole thing wouldn't fit on the scanner but you get the idea.
