make sure it is turned all the way in the locked position and pull. Sometimes if they are not turned 100% all the way in one direction they will not come out. Did that on my DI

The key should only come out when the lock latch is up on newer Sterns as far as I'm aware.

Does it not come out when you turn the lock up?

Looks open so disassemble and replace.

It’s open, doesn’t return to the upright position.

I’ve disassembled and put in the freezer to see if it’s enough to loosen the pin and free the key when held against my electric razor.

No luck yet. Worst case I’ll replace.
    Thanks for the suggestions

Update: came loose and was able to box up with the other key. Will replace.

    Thanks for the assist
