Ken's funeral/celebration was this weekend. (See https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/rip-ken-layton-/page/5#post-6897807 for a couple of photos.)
Instead of donating to a cause in his memory, I'm giving away my large pinball book collection to Pinsiders. Each book will have its own Pinside thread, always with this title and the name of the current book.
You enter one drawing by PMing me your name.
I will only ship to U.S. addresses (sorry) and you'll reimburse me for shipping/handling after you get the book.
I'll give an estimate for shipping cost with each new listing ($7 or $8 this time).
Only the winner will be notified.
Deadline for entry: 9PM Pacific, Friday 4/29
Book #2 is "Basic Electricity Volumes 1 Through 5" (1978) by Van Valkenberg, Nooger & Neville
This 1978 edition is perfect if you're working on 70s and 80s pinball machines. It's the Navy's electronics course released for civilians, and is written for regular people, without fancy arithmetic. It looks intimidating, but it's just a big bound version of 5 small books on different basic topics.
