Wine coolers are good for wine but the one pictured shows sodas in it too and wine coolers do not get as cold as you would like for your sodas or cans of beer. I had purchased a magic chef beverage cooler and it only got my cans down to about 50 degrees so I returned it. I then purchased a vissani glass front beverage cooler at home depot which works much better. I think I paid under $200 for it as well. I had a beverage air mini fridge and that worked perfectly but it lost its coolness and the freon that goes to the condenser in it is no longer sold. The bev air is definitely the best for a beverage cooler but they cost around a grand and it is a commercial unit so it is noisy.
