I buy lots of LEDS and I do it until bulk orders. I have about 3000 bulbs right now of all different colors and types. I am looking for suggestions on how to keep them organized. What do you do to keep your bulbs in line?

I have similar compartmented case that is two-sided. I keep warm whites on one side and flip the whole case over for cool whites on the other side. Different color LEDs are in polybags kept in a box that I have to rummage through if I'm looking for a certain color LED. They shouldn't burn out like incandescent bulbs so you shouldn't need to keep a lot of spares. I used the case mainly while I was converting 11 games over to LEDs.

i don't even have 1/10th of what you have, but i use a small plastic divided case, similar to above, just smaller.

4 cases just like yours, adjustable compartment dividers.

Those cases are similar to what my friend Welby has. One case for frosted leds, one case for clear leds, and one case for flashers/flex leds.

Those Harbor Freight cases with the removable yellow tubs are the bomb!

    My container of "whites":

Get a few of the small HF yellow cases too so you can swap out the bigger containers with the small ones. If you buy multiple styles of LED in every color like me you'll need a lot of containers

Ziplocks, marked w/sharpie stuffed into a parts bin. I need a better method, but probably not enough leftovers/flavors to warrant a container like shown above.

You can get clear plastic bead storage cases for like 2 bucks at Michael's or similar stores and they are great for LEDs

I use the cheap parts storage boxes from walmart. They come in two different sizes and have adjustable compartments.

I can never seem to find links for them on the website, though. They're in the hardware aisle with the wall hangers and whatnot.

    I went a little overboard.

I try to keep a nice sample size around so I can play around with what looks best in certain areas.

that's kind of my goal, not to have enough of everything to do a machine, but enough to figure out what i want, then when i order, order a few extra of everything to build my inventory.

I use those little ball tubes from Marco when traveling to locations.
