So he can’t do the podcast anymore because he could lose his job but it’s all good if he just gets 6k in donations per year? Sounds like maybe he doesn’t have a job anymore.
I am still confused. K-man stopped his podcast because his livelihood was being threatened. But $500 a month is enough for him to jeopardize it? Seems fishy to me.

I was going to post the same thing. He is talking about billable rate. I also work at an agency and my employer charges 300 per hour for my services...but I don't make close to that number.
