It might be handy one day to isolate a "random resetting" problem if you ever experience that. Most don't recommend leaving it in place but it is certainly a great fault finding aid.

More likely bad connectors BUT please do yourself a HUGE favor and systematically work through the faultfinding techniques in the WIKI - that's why someone went to a LOT of trouble to explain exactly how to track down this fault and how to fix it in increasingly difficult steps.

But it starts with the simple things first and is very well written.

    Quoted from MyParagon1979:

Once that happens to your game: then what...?
Then I pay someone to fix it properly!

The WIKI walks you through a lot of VERY simple things to check before you even need a soldering iron.

    I strongly advise reading it.

    Quoted from MyParagon1979:

I finally got the kill a watt.
On a hot day with A/C on, my wall reads 115v,
On a normal cool day it reads 119.2
Would the wall reading of 115v cause resets?
I installed a kahr daughterboard, which seems to help.

As you already know, the add-on board is a band aid ONLY.

I would plan on rebuilding the power driver board as per Wiki and remove the add-on board.
