Glad that people here seem to like the film! It was great making it.

Enjoyed it very much, thanks for all your efforts in the project.

Tilt made my trip to the casino recently SO much less enjoyable! Everywhere I looked it seemed like all the games had WMS logos on them!!!

(I didn't know Williams went to slots until I saw Tilt a few years ago...)

You can buy it new or used at Amazon.com currently. Also, it seems like every pinball convention has a dealer (or several) selling these, plus Special When Lit, King of Kong, Pinball Passion, etc. I'm sure someone will be selling these at Pinball Expo 2012 soon.

I've got some from the MGC - I actually try helping sell Tilt every chance I can... even got it a local showing a theater that was showing Tommy right before opening night! Anyway, if anyone is interested...

    Quoted from pinball_keefer:

I suppose someday I should watch it, then.

I don't know if you would find it quite as fascinating seeing as how you're in the industry. I know that for me, theme park and roller coaster shows became something I was not at all interested in when I was working in that industry, even though I was still a fan of them. It was like why bother watching them talk about it on TV when I actually do that all day here and can walk out of my office to see what is going on?

I don't know if you might get the same thing from Tilt, so I guess just beware of that.

"Kicked it's butt" is a bit extreme. It probably did close to equivalent in some locations, but I would bet that it probably didn't earn 500-700 a week that a couple RFMs were doing on test. Obviously they were the exception and not the rule.

In our Mall locations with teens and middle aged parents they were all over South Park enjoyed it greatly. I was so happy as I could move and rescue MB and TOTAN and move the out to other less played locations so I could take them home sooner. TAF and RS and even Dirty Harry and World Cup Soccer were earning so we had to start saving money for the next big thing pin 2k. Glad we have Mr SouthPark doing WOZ gonna be great!

Very true for those who know the way to the Bay.

i watched this yesterday with itunes. what a great documentary. I really want a RFM now i have seen it! before this i never even thought about buying 1.

the itunes store only had the documentary but i see that de complete dvd have a disc with extra's is it worth buying de dvd just for the extra's since i have the movies?

I recently played a routed RFM and found it fun but hard to see the ball at times. Then I played one for sale and all the lights working and much easier to see the ball and really liked that cop[y of the game. However, I still had to wonder if it was plaed in a regular size cabinet and had even more shots would it have been a better game.
Watching Tilt really made me wonder why Williams didn't sell its pinball division verus shutting it down. It also made me realize how devoted nad hard working many of the designers and employees at Williams were. Glad many of them are now back into the pinball business. I've watched a few of the pinball documentaries and enjoyed Tilt the most but was sad the Lawlor P2K was never released and how it all ended for Williams.

I was hoping hubby could find it online and download, but it seems not a ton of people have it in their online video collections. Go figure.

    I do.

    +1

This is why it was so worth buying the physical version for me. Indie docs frequently have really cool packaging/extras because their creators actually spend time on that and CARE about getting as much info as possible into the thing.
