I recently restored this same machine . quite a bit of work to get the game running 100% With game running try operating the score reel manually and see if that stops the score motor from running. The puk mech took a lot of time to get it to work correctly ie oil the metal moving parts and lightly sand the brass rivets. The original metal strip was snapped on my machine so i ended up making one from some Ribbon and a plastic eyeball bought from a craft shop and this works a treat

Puk meck must be in the "home" position or the reset coil will continue to operate
