Quoted from PPS:

they definately have done what they needed to do ... certainly the much needed evolution from where pins had seemingly been 'stuck' for about 10 years ... and now they get to build new games on that platform and hopefully will innovate on top of that ... rick

It looks like JJP has now assembled a pinball "dream team" of sorts, and I hope Jack will continue to do what he's best at, that is, to excite, motivate, coach, and lead (and, of course, sell). I think JJP has a very good chance to do all that, plus innovate further and hit it out of the ballpark, again, and again.

Thanks for all that your doing with the MM remake, btw.

these are indeed exciting times for pinball

Quoted from dannunz:

Maybe they will go down instead of up

"Dynamic Pricing" started in sports business/industry a few years back and that it may now be prolifirating to other areas of business. Stern's less than clear sales/distributorship model comes close to it in the pinball business, but still no sign of prices actually going down. JJP is in a different segment of this specialized industry, and as such, might be wiser to stay with a premium pricing strategy in order to maintain and maximize both the volume of its sales and the margin of its profits, where there are no substitutes for the product, or when the seller cannot save on costs by producing at a higher volume, and where there's an exciting super salesman like Jersey Jack already leading the effort, and, of course where the customers get what they paid for.

In JJP's case, premium pricing would also make sense to sustain/improve brand identity and reputation marketing by "price-quality signaling", as the higher prices will suggest to the customer an unmistakably higher quality and no-compromise pinball. I wish JJP continued success.
