Pretty cool! I might try hanging it from the ceiling & blacklighting it for effect...of course that might make your game room look like a TGI Friday's or something
That's awesome. I loved finding and reading all the Spy vs. Spy comics in the MAD magazine margins back in the day.
Did you make that or buy it?
omg, that's so cool. where the hell can i get me one of 'dem?
so funny, i was just talking about spy vs. spy the other day with a friend, reminiscing about 'mad' mag...
but let's face it, al jaffee was the best satirist of his era.

A body shop body of mine had it done. I'ts actually a dummy bomb he picked up years ago and had been sitting in storage for years. The entire thing is made out of metal. He had his guys restore it and then paint it white. He then sent it to his airbrush guy to do the artwork. 75% of Bruce's work is on collectable cars, especially muscle cars and custom cars. His airbrush guy has done some incredible work on his cars. Once the artwork was done, Bruce cleared it.
Pictures do NOT do this justice. The artwork almost looks three dimensional and it shines like glass.
Quoted from Hobbypinball:hmmm - would be a cool theme for a pin. spy vs spy or even Mad Mag - very cool indeed.
Rawd over on the Hyperspin forums created a Spy vs Spy themed table in Future Pinball a few year ago.

I use to love the old NES game and reading the MAD comics for Spy vs. Spy
For any of you guys who do air brushing, how long would something like this take, just to do the artwork?
You da bomb, Bryan!!! When I was young I read every edition of Mad Magazine and LOVED the 'Spy vs. Spy'!!!

Mike, Mike, Mike. I LOVED Mad Magazine as a kid. You would shit if you saw this in person. It's no plastic toy. It's made out of metal and has some weight to it.
Best part is, it didn't cost me a dime. Well, it'll cost me someday. Bruce and I have an "arrangement." He sands and buffs my repro playfields to make them look perfect and I do his odd electrical jobs. I honestly don't know if I owe him or he owes me.
I walked into his office this morning with a couple of aprons I need him to do for me and this was sitting in the corner. I just about did the unthinkable in my pants. After seeing my reaction, he said go ahead and take it. I may have to rewire half his house for this one.
Clicked the thread because I was sure it WASN'T the coolest thing ever. Was pleasantly suprised when it indeed WAS the coolest game room item ever. Very Jealous of this.... Congrats!

Quoted from Whridlsoncestood:I personally loved the spy vs spy Nintendo game.
I used to play that game on my Apple IIe. It was cool how you could lay booby traps for the other player.
Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:I'ts actually a dummy bomb
Hopefully.
Remember the Revolutionary War cannon from a British war ship in Central Park in New York was recently found to have powder and ball in it after all these years.
LTG : )
Mad Magazine is another one of the things I collect I have about 400 issues. A little unknown about Mad Magazine is they still release it today. Very cool item indeed. I always thought they should do a mad pin based on the magazine and not the crappy show.

People still find ordinance over here in Eau Claire all the time. Almost monthly. It was buried all over town when the ammunition plant was here.
I was commissioned with Toys Salvage by the state in 09 to work at Badger ammunition in sauk county dismantling it. Talk about strict regulations no lighters matches nothing.
Finally a thread title that is less hyperbole and more fact. I feel a sudden need to befriend a metal worker and an airbrush artist...
Congratulations on the acquisition and your initial bowel control.

Funhouse ripoff right down to RUDY. Gary says he never made it because it wouldn't sell over seas. It was right around the time of all the lawsuits. I think he got TOLD he CANT make it.
