LOL... I "Upgraded" to a Scion XB..... I just have a thing for ugly cars apparently...

Ewwww, Scion....

I have a thing for Pontiacs. The Aztek was my 6th. I'm currently on my 7th (and last )

I normally agree with pretty much everything you write, but I will say you are doing Mike a bit of disservice in thinking he only pumps out high dollar (possibly read as overpriced) machines. I know of plenty of deals Mike has done where they meet the latter side of your statement.
Obviously Mike has a certain flair in his responses, but I can honestly say there is more to his book than the cover...
As far as the TSPP goes...I am glad someone likes the green, but dang that would definitely be an acquired taste..... I also used to drive a Pontiac Aztek, and I can recognize ugly when I see it...LOL

Actually Mike gave me a great deal on my TSPP. It needed to be shopped badly but the price was right.

There are a lot of deals like what you describe. I have found him more than fair on some of his unshopped machines and people usually think I am under market on most of my buying and selling deals...

I had my Aztek for 8 years..... Other than the wheel bearings being complete crap, it was an awesome pin hauler that got decent gas mileage and was very reliable. At 170k the engine seals decided they were done doing their job and I sent it packing...

Took less than 24 hrs to sell. Must have been priced right. Machine looked very nice.

Green

Of all the games I've owned and would want back TSPP is probably the one.

#58 11 years ago

My favorite Stern machine- done up right!

#59 11 years ago

This is going to sound silly, but in real life it comes across different from photos. Matt from Backalley did the same on his. I saw it this week. I'm not saying its any less loud, but it looks right. (cool)

I can understand that

#61 11 years ago

So what did Tatman put in it's place?

#62 11 years ago

The green looks cool in real life. Its hard to photo, like LED's or sasquatch.

I recently bought blades, clear shooter rod, PC & will eventually order the LED's. Not a fan of those PC ramps but I am crazy jealous of the clear coated playfield... damn.

Pic of mine, yeah yeah I know

#67 11 years ago

Those first pics make me almost want TSPP again, but the game is such a snoozer to me. Nice work tat.

Game is already here and being enjoyed by my family. Thank you Mike and Tat. The game really looks amazing.

Tat,

I think this is the third time I have bought one of your games through Mike. I love the guy, but, maybe one of these times, we can cut out the middle man. PM me first next time and I'll bring you the cash and pick up the game. That way, I don't have to take a swift kick in the nuts every single time (I let Mike do it and he takes $100 off of the game).

Sorry Mike! Even I want to save a few bucks now and then.

Sounds good. Hope you like the TSPP

Great looking TSPP. Congrats on sale. I personally liked the color scheme but that might just be me?? Radiation cutouts I think is a no brainer that looks amazing.

#72 11 years ago
Quoted from Rarehero:

Why can't you step in line and be color blind like everyone else!??!?!!?

People, can we work on allowing other people to have differing opinions without calling them "haters" or making personal attacks? So someone doesn't like the color? It's their opinion. I personally think it's pretty cool. So someone thinks the price is too high? Obviously not, it sold.. (IMO, TSPP should be as much as MM, it's twice the game MM is and only about 2000 more were made, which is still about ~14,000 less machines than TAF)

#73 11 years ago

Whoever got this game is lucky I got up late. Damn!! That IS a work of art!!

I bought the t mold first then had it powder coated

Looks like quality work. The inside is nice. I'm not light wristed enough to like the exterior.

It looks amazing. In person it was even better. It goes with the theme perfectly!

WTF is that suppose to mean anyway? Shallow minded people

I like to tear them down, spend copious amounts of money on new parts and mods and hours of my time and then sell them for less than I paid for the base game because some CL flipper wants to tell me what my game is worth on Ebay.
I love this hobby.
