For any owners or frequent players of Mustang, I'd like to know if you end up going for anything other than Gear 5-6 to get the whole 100 million Super JP thing (maybe even have it doubled?). Is it the most direct path to achieving a high score or still deemed to be too risky given the other scoring opportunities.

For tourny players I get there is a risk/reward here, but for overall playability I'm concerned the Super JP is still "easy" enough that you can't rationalize not going for it each and every time. Hope I'm wrong though.

I don't know, but even if that is the case, the cool part is that going for 6th gear multiball is a very fun and exciting strategy to play. Especially on your last ball.

6th gear is a base 50 million jackpot that can be doubled for 100 million the first time, it's not 100 million after that. I have had games over 500 million without the 100 million jackpot. It's a fast way to get points, but it isn't going to get you huge high scores alone. There are modes where the final shots can be doubled with nos scoring and be doubled by default (ie Cruisin') so you can get some really good points there too. 6th gear, playing multiple gear shift MBs, getting the most points out of shots in modes and burnout multiball are the way to score really high.

so what happens when all modes have been started or even better completed ? is there a mini wizard mode like in LOTR how it has there and back again, or the simpsons pinball party how it has Alien Invasion.

Mini wizard mode is drift, wizard mode is silverball stampede. You just have to play all modes to light drift, have to finish them all for silverball stampede.

Sorry to drag up an old thread... but how does the scoring in Burnout Multiball compare to other scoring in the game (Gears mb and the mode scoring)?
