Lets see how bad this taxi is? The Taxi hardtop IS amazing, but in my opinion it has it's place, and that place is on playfields that have large areas completely wore down to wood and are beyond "wax and play".....not my game, not my call....just my opinion. Remember, these games can only be original once. Once that paint is sanded away, it's gone forever and you can never get it back.

Wax it, play it, love it. Taxi is about as classic of a system 11 as you can get, so just enjoy that you have a chance to own one and embrace it's patina. Taxis typically have so much wear because it's such a great game.

I attached some pics of my first Taxi, maybe it'll make you feel better. You can see the insane amount of wear, especially in the stripped down picture. That was AFTER buffing, waxing, Novus, insert decals etc. The other pic is after. All i did was hand polish with Novus 2 everything, replace posts/bumpers/flippers with new (relatively cheap to do) and polished up the ramps and plastic. It was still not great, but it played great....and it was MINE even if it wasn't flawless I still loved and played the crap outta it while i had it. If there was a Hardtop back then i would of installed it on this taxi. But i sold it before it was even almost an option.
