I'm going with 1947 Marvel Carnival. There are no pics available of that game but it's not 1948 Bally Carnival.

I am pretty sure Reppie nailed your mystery game Dirt. I knew it was a woodrail with rollovers but once he named it I knew that had to be right.

Weird. Too similar to be a conversion. Maybe the export game had a different name?

Cabinet paint looks to have a different color scheme as well.

Wow, such a cool piece of art. I wasn't familiar with Lester Hilbrich.

    I will guess Lawman?

Ok, I've got one. I found this old post card at a thrift store a few years back. It's shows the "recreation room" at Maple Grove Resort in Land O'Lakes Wi. There is a machine in the far left. I have already identified it but let's see how you do. The postcard is a bit dark and grainy but that just adds to the challenge.

Yes! Dang that was fast. It took me longer than that.

Ok Dirt, what's the year and model of the pool table.

    #47 8 years ago

    Me neither.

100 year old Brunswick is as close as my research took me.

Ha, thanks man. Mine's not quite that rustic. I wish this place was still around. It reminds me of places we would stay at up North as a kid.

1962 Williams Friendship 7 and Vagabond. Must have been an AAB state.

    Quoted from stashyboy:

Anyone have an opinion on Vagabond? I have heard some good about it, but IPDB reviews are mixed. I don't put too much stock in pinball ratings, but specific comments from folks on the EM forum are worth considering. (Look at the current top EM games on this site) They come up for sale here once in a great while, but don't see them on people's wishlist, etc. Usually roached glass/cabinet.

Never played one and it seems to be an elusive title. I'd like to give one a whirl as well.

I can identify a few. Gottlieb Magnotron, Williams Flash, Gottlieb Wild Life, Gottlieb Super Soccer (or Soccer), Gottlieb Airport.
That's what I could get without cheating and looking at your collection list.

Resurrecting this old thread. Saw this cool pic on Shorpy. One of my favorite places to kill some time. See if you can name this pin in an old diner (1940). I have no idea.

    Larger version here.

    Quoted from pinwiztom:

What is french fried popcorn and what are those tubes of PHOS behind the counter girl?

Apparently they deep fry the popcorn kernels. No idea what PHOS is. I've had a few machines that were POS though.

Nice! I had a feeling either you or one of a couple other guys would get it.

    Attractive machine but wow, $4500?
