The sensitivity of this subject brings emotional reactions.
The degree of innocence, or guilt, some here are comfortable to judge and adjudicate.
Others do not take these steps, as the way we are taught, but agree in the end, meaning justice.
There simply is no way, anyone can agree.....we cant even agree on a freaking pinball machine!
Our personal differences here are an extension of social polarization.
We cant play judge over each other, and how we deal/address/cope.
I tend to fend this with humor, but know I shouldnt do so here, and in public.
I know this is societal, and how this issue is addressed through history.
The last thing to say is this, it is equally deplorable, IMO.
This is our law today, I believe..
Although in such states there is no set minimum age by statute, the traditional common law minimum age is 14 for boys and 12 for girls - ages which have been confirmed by case law in some states.[2] Over the past 15 years, more than 200,000 minors married in US, and in Tennessee girls as young as 10 were married in 2001.[3]
We are certainly a diverse society....
Back to pinball.....my apologies to anyone my soap box rant offended.
