I bet that car is more fun to drive than the pin is to play

Quoted from johnwartjr:What do you have against Corvette? It's a fun pin!
I'm considering selling mine, but trying to resist.
Compared to other 90s WMs, it just seems a bit dull. Shoot shots to chase the car, shoot shots to win the little drag race thingie.. typical multiball setup.. what does it offer that's unique and fun? It seems like there's far fewer modes and scoring features in Corvette than similar-dated games.
Quoted from Whysnow:Pretty similar scoring opportuntities as other similar era games and lots of shots plus a well designed upper flipper geometry
"scoring opportunities" doesn't necessarily mean "fun scoring opportunities." Sure, it has switches and targets and a few ramps, but the only feature that is memorable is the drag race mode, which is kinda cool for the visual feedback, but that's about it. And what is so special about the upper flipper? It shoots a ramp and a loop, just like a lot of other upper flippers (ES, BK2K, wwind, etc). I don't see any big risk/reward scenarios except possibly the super skill shot... certainly nothing like CIU modes or Casino Run or trying for a 5 planet nuke on SST or building a massive song jackpot on ACDC. It does have decent flow, but when the rules are so 'meh' that doesn't carry the game.
