Okay... I got some suggestions... Mind you I've never refinished a pinball machine before. But, I do paint a lot in my spare time and I also do some wood projects with my friends and brother... My suggestion is research the brand of paint you will buy before you use it... Yes, you probably won't find pinball info on the reviews...But, you'll read about other things... Then I'd suggest(and this really doesn't come into play so much with black), but I'd suggest you try out the paint first in a small area of the cabinet to just see how it reacts when it dries... When you're satisfied that it matches then you can proceed and paint the rest.
