Nice Fall day.
Does anyone have a fix for the raptor
Pin mine keeps getting stuck . The top is kind of crooked so it gets trapped in that corner I tried adjusting under neath play field but everything feels
Tightly screwed
Quoted from snaroff:I have a JP2 that had the same defect...gate installed too close to the PF and would catch/stick. Really unfortunate that the mech can't be adjusted to center with the PF slot.
I unscrewed it and moved it ever so slightly. Not perfectly centered, but not catching. If you have the appropriate tools, you could try and expand the holes in the bracket so you can move it around.
Good luck...a bummer these are being installed in the wrong location!
Thanks for the info . Man sounds complicated I’ll reach out to stern and see if they can send me some sort of replacement first.
Quoted from snaroff:Thanks for finding Yancy's fix. I like his fix...just unfortunate that many of us are dealing with this issue.
Modifying the metal bracket with a dremel isn't a trivial fix for many owners. I'd much prefer Stern revise the bracket to accommodate minor adjustments (and address it with a service bulletin). Just a shame when folks are paying up for a couple Premium features and then have to deal with fallout when they don't work.
Thanks for the post and link awesome
Work . Hate to talk bad about stern but that’s kind of dumb. The one of the few motorized parts on the machine and they didn’t check it ? No quality control ? I guess what do I expect my topper r2d2 had to be sent back to them for adjustment and the Jurassic park shooter rod instructions suck . Now I have to take A dremmel to a new pinball machine . I know it’s not proper to complain but I’m done With stern nib,
Too much hassles
These two screws were completely offf therefore gate was not going down and was all crooked . With removal of those two screws it’s fixed. Do u guys think the unit can hold
Up with just those two screws on the right or not a good idea ?

Quoted from atrainn:I would just fill those two holes with some wood filler (eg: JB Weld Kwik Wood), then put the screws in properly when it hardens.
Thanks for the advice,
You know what, I will ask Chas to maybe take this one and dremmel like the other pinsider had done (nice write up), or I may ask him for replacement with more open areas on that side so I can adjust it, Im sure Stern will do it since this is an obvious defect
Hey guys thanks for help adjusting raptor cage I think I finally have it as centered as possible I used a dremmel tool another pinsider recommended and opened up the holes a bit , I looked 100 times with a flashlight it’s not touching the play field
.. should be ok ??
Quoted from Astropin:Finally got my topper in from Tilt! I know this is the older version, but I actually like it better than the newer limited edition one.

What’s the newer limited edition one? Is it by stern and still to be announced ?
Did anyone come up with a fix to prevent T rex head from hitting the right gate post ? Mine keeps hitting it when it turns to the right.
Finally fixed my raptor cage gate. A few tooth picks did do the trick, shifted it ever so slightly so its now centered. It still rubs against the inside edge of the play field, only when it goes up, but its so light, I doubt it will cause any issues
Thanks guys
Quoted from GoodOmens:So this is basically another LE. Are we going to see another LE package for their Godzilla now?
Ah good idea ! Saved me like 4-5k!
