Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:

Love it! Where did you get the figures?
A Nedry would be cool if there was a compatible figure.

LOL Nerdy would be great. Being that I'm a model railroading guy (lol) I said hmmmm, yep the O scale figures are a great fit for the 1/43 vehicles. The only thing you have to do and I didn't hear them complain is amputate their legs. I also repainted the colors on Grant to try to match him from the movie scenes, rider on a fast horse won't notice all the missed details. In addition to grant we painted Sattire hair blonde.

Quoted from yzfguy:

Wait.... I'm not the only one playing this game on horseback?!

LOL, nope

Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:

You better wait until I can see if I paint better that a first grader.

finger painting works too

Hmmm.... decisions, decisions, side art or mirror blades?

Is anyone else getting a broken image link when trying to access topic image gallery? I can see some in the post itself even when I click them I get the broken image link message.

Ok question for you guys when shooting the right ramp and upon the ball's exit from the helix, it 50% of the times (and I'm guessing here) hit's off the right orbit ball guide and tosses the ball off it's path of returning to the flipper. Yet the guide looks to be in it's correct setting. Has anyone encountered this and was there a remedy?

#10735 2 years ago
Quoted from JMCFAN:

Same on mine...
[quoted image]

Ditto, Premium.

#10753 2 years ago

Does anyone make plastic protectors for the slings and outlanes in orange for this game? Thus far only seen clear and green.

#10755 2 years ago

Shit, how the hell did I over look them, I have been to that site like a 1000 times lol. Thanks

#10771 2 years ago
Quoted from Oleboy:

Has anyone else had an issue with black lines of dirt or something in the inlanes? I keep cleaning it but it comes back after a couple of games. Seems like some sort of residue keeps pooling where the ramps drop the ball at the top of the inlane and then runs down the inlane and front of the flippers in perfect lines. Is this normal? I will add a picture as soon as it builds up again.

Get rid of the black rubbers.

Quoted from hd60609:

Going to post this in both club threads. Due to such limited availability, I was going to attempt to cast an amber shooting rod with epoxy resin. Curious to see how it will turn out. I already purchased the blank threaded shooter rod from Pinball Life.
Can anyone with the official Stern Jurassic Shooter tell us the dimensions of the amber? Diameter and length? Thanks.

Will we be using real Mosquito's? If so put me down

#10817 2 years ago
Quoted from marksf123:

Doesn't the Stern one use real mosquitos? I thought mine did?

Not sure, I have seen some Amber saps on ebay close the what they used to make shooter rods, but those bugs were printed on a clear vinyl decal so I stepped away from trying with any of them.

Quoted from Occelot:

Hey guys, just got my Premium a few weeks ago, wondering if anyone has experienced an issue where the TRex ramp doesn't register every now and then? I know THATS PINBALL, but not necessarily for a new machine. Wondering if this is code or opto/switch/harness related before I go digging.
Thanks!

Yep, especially on fast fly thru skill shots not all the time but once in a blue moon. I think it's opto's just don't register those quick shots thru.

Quoted from yzfguy:

Ya might want to go with shorter screws to attach the topper

#10937 2 years ago
Quoted from ZoraShinoda:

Had mine almost a month now. Never noticed these wires until today. I assume this is correct? Do others have a few wires showing right behind the right T-REX Fence post right above the spinner?
[quoted image]

Yep wires are back there soldered to a pcb board, you can easily just tuck them back again so they are not easily seen.

Quoted from cwmoraes:

Hi guys! On my second day with the machine this happens!
Has it ever happened that the jeep's steering ball comes off someone's machine? any suggestions on how to fix this?
Greetings!
[quoted image][quoted image]

The ball shaft should pass through the jeeps posts the on the other side that shaft should have had a threaded area and nut on it. Did you find loose parts in the cabinet?

Does anyone know if the new JP's are coming with the newer node boards like GOTG? I ask for I would assume that the Ultimate Code would no longer be abled to be installed on them just as the did with Pinball Browser and Cleland code for GOTG in their V1.08.

Maybe Sterns shrewd way of counteracting people for making modifications to the code on their own, who knows.

#11305 2 years ago
Quoted from DakotaMike:

Oh damn, don't scare me. I would be super bummed if that was the case. I've got a JP Premium incoming soon (I hope). JP is a newer game to begin with and so far I haven't heard of a problem...

This is something they just started doing on the new runs of GOTG, go read the thread and see. If this is the case, I hope we can find folks who can repair node boards as if one fails on us and we currently have the ultimate code we might have no choice but to resort back to stock code. I know I might be putting the cart before the horse here but just thinking outside the box for moment and trying to figure their angle here, it may be something or all just a bunch of nothing.

Quoted from ralphs007:

My friend gave this subwoofer to me.Would this work for my Jurassic park, when I get it?
[quoted image]

yep just run the wire and match the polarity, red to red & black to black.

#11357 2 years ago
Quoted from MLarkin78:

I just got my JP yesterday and installed the code. Works perfectly.

New built machine I assume?

#11388 2 years ago
Quoted from cwmoraes:

Hi!
Stern sent me the Truck Spinner.
I put it on but it stopped working.
As much as you turn the truck from side to side, it doesnt work. Any idea what it might be!?
Greetings![quoted image]

When you reassembled did you make sure the piece below is passing thru the opto's to break the beam? If not it won't register.

Quoted from cwmoraes:

More pics.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Pictures from under the playfield not above.

#11396 2 years ago
Quoted from cwmoraes:

I found this piece.[quoted image]

That's the piece, it must break the beam on the opto's one on each side as the jeep turns. Grub nut to the flat side of the shaft.

Quoted from Drac:

Look I know this is just too much. I know it's way over the top. I'm usually someone who might add a few tasteful mods and call it a day. It's just that I got some really nice jungle trees and plants. I put a few of them on and wanted to stop. I really did, but I just couldn't until they were all on there.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Why do I feel like I might need tick spray to play that game . Looks awesome IMHO.
