I'm in on an LE but if not for a loved theme the Pro would have been fine for me. I wish they put more into the LE's to justify their cost to be honest. I already have invisiglass so just armor, art blades, and a shaker for a lot of money. Of course there's the real back glass which is awesome.
Quoted from lodgingdolphin:Yes. Just played a brand new pro on location last night and it had significant pooling around the slingshot posts.
F*ck, my Maiden LE had pooling that chipped. Stern is taking care of me but I am still waiting for resolution. I ordered a JP2 LE thinking this issue would be behind them by now as its multiple games and over a year later. These cost too much money to deal with this BS and headaches.
Quoted from Lounge:They can strip, rescreen and clear an already cut play field. Not as devastating as it sounds but it will take time.
More likely they will be resold to a 3rd party as spares
No problem with the art. I’m only flip flopping from the playfields. I’ve had some bites on my LE spot but truly don’t want to give it up if not for playing roulette.
Quoted from pinmister:Well I have to say waiting for the first couple runs of production to get all the kinks worked out may be the way to go from here on out. Add 'pooling' to the long list of manufacturer defects.
Questions to ask when buying a used Stern machine...
Transformers-"Does your machine have wrinkled decals?"
AC/DC Premium-"Is your window clear or is it hazy?"
Metallica/Aerosmith-"Is your cabinet splitting or cracked?"
Ghostbusters-"Do you have ghosted inserts?"
Star Trek-"How deep are your craters on the playfield?"
Star Wars/Deadpool-"How bad is your playfield planking?"
Jurassic Park-"Do you have pooling and has it started to chip yet?"
Oy Vey!
Forgot Iron Maiden, Munsters -"Do you have pooling and has it started to chip yet?"
Star Trek was fine when it released, it was the vault that cratered.
