Quoted from brickbuilder14:

Hey, question for anyone who installed a shaker motor. I just installed the official one from stern. Easy install, tightened all the screws, etc. I wanted to check and make sure that it is normal for the machine to REALLY shake. When it is set to moderate or maximum use it SHAKES. Feels like the whole house shakes haha. This is my first Pinball machine and first shaker motor so I just wanted to check and make sure this is normal is isn't going to hurt the machine in any way! Thanks!

If you have a premium when the T-Rex eats the ball it is super intense vibration you’re good!

Does anyone make under cabinet lighting for JP. I’ve asked a Rock Custom a couple times but no answer which means no. Thanks.

Quoted from Hop721:

Aaaaaand who makes it? I’m also curious as to where it plugs in. I have a light kit from a previous game that I’d like to try and integrate. Looks great btw!

Bought off amazon there just sticky sides LEDS and plug into the power strip $15 and functional. You use an app on your phone to change the the colors

Removed the protector from under the tower so that screw won’t affect the shot and had Cliff make me a carbon fiber protector to eliminate the screws altogether.

Quoted from per3per3:

How does it affix/attach to the playfield? This is a great idea!

The carbon fiber has an adhesive back. I let Cliff know it worked he can make more contact him @ passionforpinball.com

Quoted from ectobar:

This looks fine but removing the screw and putting down some mylar is basically free and just as effective

The orbit on Iron Maiden that Stern mylar’d says different it bubbles and lifts. Do what you want I just showed my idea and it works quite well.

Anyone having issues downloading the new code?

Quoted from Hokie822:

Hey guys.. what are you using to wax your playfield? I have large hands and they don't fit too well between objects. I basically get the main area but I cant get in to the harder areas. Was thinking of something like a toothbrush with a rag? Not sure.

I use foam paint brushes from harbor freight

Here’s a shot of the carbon fiber protectors that Cliffy makes

Quoted from bent98:

Are those protectors supposed to protect play field or is it to remediate the issue with the ball hitting the screws preventing shots from going up the ramps?

Both, some people were just removing the metal and leaving it bare. I noticed when I removed the the metal it was really bent from the ball coming back down.

Quoted from Gorgar666:

Is there anyway to light extra ball at a certain score. This game is freaking hard..... so far , I only see how to set up to 50% extra ball percentage... what exactly does that mean anyway...

whatever you set the replay score too make the prize an extra ball instead of a free game

Quoted from golfergordy:

1) Regarding Cliffy's carbon fiber ramp entrances, is the carbon fiber stiff and sturdy with a little give, or soft and flexible like a piece of mylar would be?
2) Replace those loose wood screws with the next larger size, or maybe try wrapping the existing screws with some teflon tape.
Also, regarding the carbon fiber ramp flaps: I'm wondering - what's wrong with the existing ramp flaps that they need to be replaced? I can't see them wearing out any time soon. I wonder if the issue that Cliff is trying to resolve is that on some games, the flap hold down screws can be touched by the ball, and cliff's flaps are glued down (no screws)?

The ball actually makes contact with the screws and causes rejections, the canon fiber flaps will make the shot smoother
