Quoted from Grayont:If you go with Cactus Canyon you will have a more complete and rounded collection in my opinion.
Well I was considering it based on some reviews, but after playing it a few times I don't think it's the right game for me to have at home. I much prefer Monster Bash. Still looking to play AFM, MM, TZ and a few others from that era.
That said, I ultimately have room for 4 pinballs (ok - maybe 5!). So I think there is room for both Godzilla and JP.
Quoted from trueno92:Id ditch godzilla because pretty much everyone has one.
I've only had Godzilla for about 3 months and 450 games so far. Not ready to ditch it yet. Honestly, I see why it's ranked so highly - it's an amazing game. Still putting a few mods on it, and trying to get further in the game. I'm not going to say it's bolted to the floor, but I don't see it going anywhere soon.
Quoted from NoDisclaimer:I chose the JP premium mostly because of local market conditions. When a premium comes up on CL or marketplace they get snapped up immediately while the the pro's seem to sit forever.
Thanks for this advice. Makes sense to me.
Quoted from NoSkills:I have a premium, if I could go back in time I'd have got a pro and pocketed the extra cash. I play a lot and the t-rex got boring after a while, I switch it off now when playing alone, guests absolutely love it though. I do much prefer the raptor area and art on the premium.
This is very helpful. Thanks!
I agonized over pro or premium for Godzilla, and ultimately went pro because there was one available 30 miles from me with low plays and a reasonable price. I figured I could always upgrade down the line if I wanted. But I was itching to to buy my first pin, so I just went for it. I'll probably keep my eye out for JP similarly. I mainly play alone, or with my daughter. I think from that perspective the pro would be fine. Less to break is also a positive. But if a premium pops up, I think the cool toys are probably worth it. (I'll have to take a longer look at the artwork)
So I know there was also some mention about getting an earlier game. That is definitely in the cards. I kind of have my heart set on a BSD, but there are a few others I'm looking out for as well. So we'll see. Finding the right thing that's in good shape and relatively close (1-2 hours from Boston) is not as easy as I would like.
Really appreciate the feedback! Thanks!
