Whats the advantage to painting in layers like that instead of painting EVERYTHING and then clearing?
Quoted from Chalkey:Also you should probably make a few extra dock signs or even barbasol cans for your fellow pin heads to buy.
Just use red. Hes eating the ball...and a goat....theres blood. I wanted to go red next time Im buying stuff. Green is a neat idea too.
Quoted from Lonzo:The T-Rex rubber skirt is in pretty good shape. The plastic piece that the screws go through to hold it on was is broken at one screw hole and is not clear. Its a little yellow. I decided to print a black one to make it look a little better and blend in with the skirt.
OK, ok, so how much? We all need these.
Quoted from GRB1959:The OP has the opportunity for a side business with some of the NLA JP parts that he is producing during his restoration. The decals look amazing as well as his nice replacement for the often damaged rubber skirt for the T-Rex.
Gord
Right? I really like what he did with the Trex "apron' too...the green looks nice.
Quoted from Lonzo:These decals actually look pretty good, for what they are. I'm leaning towards mirrors if I can make sure the DE ones will work. I was told the Stern ones would fit but they don't.
I finally found the picture you mentioned. I am putting the collar plastic on tonight so I will see what I can come up with.
I am leaning towards these as well. It kinda bugs me that its a mirror image on both sides so that triceratops is flip flopped, but it does match the art pretty well....Im torn.
Quoted from winteriscoming:It matches the art because it's a scan of the backboard image (read: No real effort put into making them). I don't care for them, but that's just my opinion.
I know...Ive asked hassanchop many times to do some justice. He doesnt have access to a JP.
Quoted from delt31:OP - 2800 right now in cash. Sound good? Great!
haha - this thing looks awesome!
Try 4k when finished, maybe more. I dont think Id go less than 3500 on mine, and its not half this nice. JP is a keeper.
Really like yoyo's 3d buildings, but the power shed just doesnt match up as well as I would want it to for the money. Looks like a battery instead of a shed.
